So I know its a bit premature and we still have 2 ships open but this team has been flipped upside down in the last week or so. We lost our starting and backup SG (Prescott/Rusin) ... we also lost our back up PF/C (Watson) and senior C (Korey).
Who is your starting 5 and who's coming off the bench there after ...

Hopefully the last ships are filled and we can do this in a few weeks with a full roster but...
if the season started today I'd go
Kemp, Carter, Bowie, Lewis, Morton
Bench PT: Prinsloo (5) Alexis (3-4) Price(1-2)...maybe some minutes for either Hall or Curry at the 1.
This shows how important those other scholarships are...Carter is not a 4 and Prinsloo is not ready to be getting meaningful minutes but with the current roster he's forced to.

Yeah def ... these 2 ships are major important ... Wow im a bit surprise ... You really think Lewis should start over Anell?? and Morton over Price/Hall right away. I think i would have Bowie @ the 2 and Anell @ the 3 ...

My starting 5 with current roster:
PG: Morton (kid has the confidence, let him start right away) SG: Bowie SF: Alexi (breakout year for him, has ability to be lockdown defender too I believe) PF: Carter Center: Kemp
Price gets 15 minutes a game as the combo guard
Hall in the 10 games or so he will most likely play before letting them down AGAIN can be the backup PG for 10mpg (do NOT give him an important role on team, can't rely on him)
Prinsloo- Hope he works hard over the summer in the weight room and defensive technique.
Lewis-15 mpg backing up SG/SF spots, then maybe gradually take more of Prices time.
Curry- Take over Halls role after first semester ends.

I agree with yankee, although I may switch positions of Bowie and Alexis. I think Bowie has more of a build for forward and can see Alexis slashing through to the hoop to get rebounds from the SG position more so than Bowie. Bowie rebounded well from the SF this past year. I'd leave him there.

I also would not hesitate to give the other FR more time depending on how they look in practice. If Lewis turns out to be a shooter, they will need to get him 20+ minutes and Curry sounds like he has a great will to win and will do whatever it takes to get it done.

If we can get Fall or Hopper .. im sorry but Carter is coming off the bench. After watching the NCAA tourney ifs obv that length not power is huge .. we need a looooong, above the rim guy @ the 4 ..
Uconn bigs just impress me (national champ game) .. 10 blocks .. wow .. congrats to them

I think i would have Bowie @ the 2 and Anell @ the 3 ... I like Alexis alot but not quite as high on him as the rest of the board. I really do not see him or Bowie playing the 2. It's imperative that a 2 in this league have a good handle and neither has a good enough handle yet to play in the backcourt full time IMO. Anell has a better handle than Bowie (maybe passable at the 2) but he needs to improve his beyond the arc shooting. Bowie can drain the three's but mostly off the pass...a 2 must create for himself.
