Morton Price Bowie Carter Kemp with Lewis, Alexis having the ability to cut into the top 5 but only at their proper position which is SF or SG
Believe it or not this is a good problem to have.
We have three guys who have played PG. Morton, Price, Hall We have several guys who can play off guard. Price, Lewis, Curry The SF position can be interchangeable with SG sometimes. Bowie, Alexis, Carter, Thomas PF can be interchanged with SF in some situations. Carter, Alexis, Prinsloo, Thomas Center is what it is. Kemp, Prinsloo
While it's fun at this time of the year to think about the "Starting 5" I think the staff is looking at the team as a whole and there are many interchangeable parts. Every one of the guys listed above will get PT. Who plays when depends on the matchups. On paper there is good balance but as all are aware the roster is young and untested.
It is very likely that the starting 5 for the first game of the year will be different than the starting 5 for the last game of the year, (even if everyone stays healthy).

Curry can play point as well.. They do have good 'problems". Just hope that Prinsloo improves quickly and can give them some quality minutes. It will rebounding by committee. They've got some undersized tough kids in Bowie, Carter, and Thomas. Lewis will rebound from whatever position he's at. They'll be a lot more fun to watch.

I know everyone is concerned about rebounds but I agree that it will be rebounds by committee or team. Look Price has shown he does not mind fighting for rebounds. Bowie has shown he can get his fair share of rebounds and Carter can rebound too. Alexis, Lewis, Thomas will all have to hit the boards.
There is nothing better than seeing a really quick guard get a rebound and run past every defender on his way to a layup at the other end of the court.

Ken, i am worried about rebounds but Carter can ger his share as a PF. They don't have any interior defense.Carter has a skinny body. no intimidation.

Carter toughed it out in HS as a PF. He'll do what it takes. It's a lot to ask. If Prinsloo can develop and be a situational guy (10 minutes) , they might be able to get away with small ball. Kemp will provide interior defense. The MAAC's not loaded with great post up players, especially with Rossiter gone. I'd really love this team if a Ryan Stilphen type was on it. Let's stay positive and see the potential unleash. They need an intimidator. It's too bad Watson bailed. He had skills.
