Too bad about Howard. I thought she had the program heading in the right direction. Not a good look for the AD for life.

Howard's departure is disappointing news but has nothing to do with AD. She is leaving for a better funded program (more scholarships, FT assistants, better facilities). The arms race in collegiate sports is very much alive.

Gonna have a lot of time on my hands it seems... Went through the attendance numbers for basketball. Both teams beat 18-19 on an overall basis (more home games helped the men).
MBB: Overall: 17,050 (up 21% from 14,123) Per game: 1,218 (down 6% from 1,292)
Top 3 games:
Siena (1,705) Niagara (1,549) Army (1,312)
WBB: Overall: 21,315 (up 11% from 19,188) Per game: 1,523 (up 3% from 1,476)
Top 3 games:
Manhattan (1,848) Siena (1,825) St. Peter's (1,696)

I wonder how many programs have a higher attendance for their women's game rather than their men's

What an incredible match. When that guy used the "do hikey" to jump over the "whatchamacallit" and grab the sparkly thing. Man. Awesome.

on the other hand, a MAAC version of Mario Kart where you could race in school colors karts with the coaches, mascots or ADs would be right up my alley

3 straight MAAC Libero of the Week awards for Sophia Theriot. Only a freshman - should be a cornerstone of the team for the next few years. Her and Murray will be a nice core (the setter is also only a sophomore so a nice young core) upon further review...Sophia Theriot transferred to USC (understandable) and Halle Carter transferred to Holy Cross (I don't get it, they were 5-25).

Well dang. Carter makes sense since she lost the job and nice of Theriot to get a huge boost
