I expect a good effort and a competitive game today. For anyone who can't go this game is on MSG.
Go Marist!

Loyola is a pretty good team. A win would do a lot for the team. Hopefully, they'll play their best for the MSG audience. I'd like to see Price have a nice game. He's too good of a player to not be a productive member of the team..

Agreed.
Marist has to beat teams like Loyola. This is another middle of the MAAC teams that we can beat if we play a complete game.
Price should have been an major part of this team instead of a player on the end of the bench. Yes he's had some very bad spots when he's been put in to give RJ a blow but that could be out of fear of CM. He is one of the players who has found his way into the Martin doghouse and can't find a way out. Maybe there is no way out. Just think, Martin has known since grades were released in late December that he was going to lose RJ for the second semester. Did he prepare the team for the change by giving Price some PT? No he kept him in the doghouse. Now we hear there way a fight that got one player, Watson, suspended for a game.
I think the reality is that Marist is stuck with Martin. Hopefully whoever wrote his contract gave Marist an out clause. A lack of performance clause.
I am starting to swing to the Martin must go side. This fence sitting is starting to hurt!

Regarding Price... Yes he's had some very bad spots when he's been put in to give RJ a blow but that could be out of fear of CM. He is one of the players who has found his way into the Martin doghouse and can't find a way out. Maybe there is no way out. Losing Hall and Goodwin, which only leaves Price, Prescott and Rusin as true guard players, may automatically get them (Rusin and Price) out of that doghouse or at the very least allow them to play with confidence knowing Chuck HAS to play them. Gotta allow them to play loose. It looked like that kind of happened in the Rider game...they both played well.

these three pointers they are taking are from 6ft beyond the 3pt line - is that really the best shoot our offense can create?

Does Marist have a play that can produce a high percentage shot? Jump shot after jump shot.

I think Loyola just had 4 second chance shots before Marist fouled them.

Never a screen for Rusin, at least one that works.

This roster is not a division 1 roster. Im not saying anything about the players but the roster as a whole will not win you more than 1 or 2 games for the rest of the year.

Why not just run a single double offense where rusin runs off the double screen and prescott runs off the single screen to the opposite wings. Let price create up top and have Rusin and Prescott take 35-40 shots between the two. atleast we'll get some points on the board.
