In the event Wright doesn't find what he's looking for out there the door ought to be open for a return. Not like we're gonna find anyone better.

You would think it's about getting a good degree at a school you like. None of these guys are pro players. Europe at best. I understand the guys that have gotten their degrees. They can start a new graduate program. The rest are a joke.. I understand if you were getting no playing time. So we have ..those that have their degrees ..lack of playing time ...(that is primary i think )..The extra covid year has muddled things up a bit ..;;Desire for NBA, G league or upper level Europe teams by having more playing time and more exposure ..Ability to sell Name and likeness too and profit off themselves now ...change of coach.. if fired or left to another team on own.. opens players to a quick transfer without sitting out a year..Just a lot of factors ...one we haven't talked about is that some teams have mass exodus's ,,thats when u have to scratch your head and say whats going on here ? we're not there ...yet .. can i say yet now ? Bell and Herasme ..wish both the best of luck ..Herasme is going to hurt harder obviously ..He was a favorite of Dunne ..and fans really

If Wright wants to come back absolutely let him. Maybe he talks to some power 5 teams and hears he gets no PT and realizes he wants to stay then let him back. Look at KC Ndefo, put his name in, came back, and there were no issues.. in fact I think they’re having a good season.
It doesn’t surprise me too much. I remember last year he said in “getting to know the new foxes” or whatever it was called he said he hated the cold weather. I figured that if he decided to transfer it would’ve been after his freshman year. Maybe a second winter in Poughkeepsie really made it for him.
This unfortunately is just going to be the reality of college basketball moving forward. The P5 got it with the one and dones, now the mid majors will have the same issue with the transfer portal

Can't fault guys for taking that extra year and trying out some other place. Herasme always hustled harder then anyone and Bell was a personal favorite of mine since his first year. Both will be missed.

Is Enoh the next to go? Only other player that was honored on senior night and not in the portal.

695 names in the D1 portal via the Verbal Commits site as of 3/23.. 61 have found a new home and at least 20 of those are transfers "down" to a different division or a JUCO/Community College. Not sure if the portal is Nirvana or an off ramp to nowhere in particular.

Both will be missed. Guys like Bell and Herasme are a little different. They’re basically trying to see if they can get some bonus basketball. Guys like Wright are the ones who are getting sucked into the off-ramp to nowhere.

Well they're leave big programs as well for sitting the bench or for whatever reason ..and don't fool yourself coaches like the one At Cleveland State ..probably St. Peters as well dont have undying allegiance to programs either ..they get success and they move on ..just an adjustment we all have to make .I worried a lot about that with Dunne if he had really turned the program around , he would have gotten coaching offers ..but i think he'll adjust and pick up a few transfers .. How do we know he didn't get offers? I think he like the area and the school. He is a frustrated as we are. The system is the biggest problem. Transfer once and stay with that team. Makes the choice a bit harder.

Those things have a way of getting out to the public ..especially with bigger programs ..yeh , i know he likes the area and school ..so did Bower ..just saying i wouldn't blame anyone who would better themselves with a near million or multi million dollar deal ..I like Dunne ,,i like the extension ..we just have a few pieces to fill
