What program review? Our coach had the 5th highest winning percentage going into this year in the country...our team went to 10 NCAAs in a row...we are coming off a 21 win season...
Our staff knows Gebbia was a big loss ...you need outside firm to tell you that?
Is there an outside firm that can predict injuries? Tori Hollenback Rosales?
You think our staff need to be told we need more OH kids? Or kids with more mental and physical toughness?
We need kids who won't quit at first sign of adversity.
What do you want reviewed? And do you think the staff isn't doing that internally?

Why don't you folks wait until you find out why these girls are really leaving before you start criticizing. Some of you sound like you were out in Ferguson, MO. Get the facts before you start blasting.

I kept this to myself, but it was long clear to me that Coffey is the heart and soul of this team. There is no doubt now.

Program review is pretty common stuff in higher Ed. Periodically you take a look at how you go about doing things, what works, what might be done better and have it looked at by an outside peer. Obviously something is not the way everyone hoped it would be or we wouldn't be discussing this. Marist is very image conscious and have always been able back it up. They will be all over this in the best possible way.

There has been no blasting of the players. But we dont need to thank them either. All these players transferring across the country is symptomatic of our society. Kids get their way or complain to parents to blame teachers. Starts young and carries over to when kids get older. Now many kids just run from adversity. I want to thank the players that stay, the ones who honor commitments. This rant is not all about these 4, but they are part of something we need to fix as parents, educators and society.

Nomar - i think you hit on a very important point as far as there has never been clicks or niches among the women's teams... that sure didn't seem the case this year. I do hope the Clement & Baab can start changing that beck to the culture that was successful.

I heard that Blais was looking at American I would hope coach Gebbia would not consider that unless Giorgis gave his blessing. I don't think he would stop it, but it should be just one of those unspoken things.

Before we start pointing fingers at players lets think about this year scholarships are given up , a senior is taken off a team with one semester remaining in her senior year. i would have to say something is going wrong with the staff . We have asst. coaches that are afraid to speak up for the players we are in trouble. so lets look a little further than what glory the coach has brought Marist these are young women who stood up and said ENOUGH there is a difference between giving up and knowing when they had enough

The trouble maker is back. We can hammer that player with a lot of knowledge that is out there, about that senior who was taken off team. So, out of respect for that, think you should let that go. This coach has been in this area for over 3 decades and has had tremendous results on and off the court. I am hopeful this board does not allow what I see as future slander about to happen to occur. These players left, lets now focus on the future and the players who stick to their commitments.
