To get change something needs to occur to get the attention of the administration such as a fan walkout in the middle of a game or fans boycotting the start of the game.
A few diehards chatting/complaining on boards like this doesn't even register with the powers that be.

Rather than a walkout I propose a letter writing campaign. Address your letter of dissatisfaction to President Dennis Murray and cc AD Timothy Murray. These men probably do not read this blog. I know AD Murray attends just about every game and he is very aware the fan base is very unhappy with the Men's program. Yes there have been some major missteps in the last decade or so. Start with Matt Brady leaving the cupboard empty when he fled Poughkeepsie. Add the terrible hire of Chuck Martin for six years. He did more harm to the Marist Mens BB program than can possibly be measured. He's the reason President Murray will not allow transfers into the program. The hire of Bower was a failed attempt to go back to the good days but that plan failed too. Now we have a coach who has a history of winning. He has come to a totally bankrupt program and on top of that the 3 of the top 6 players get injured. Coach has to be wondering "what did I get myself into?" But he is the right guy to get Marist out of the hole the last few coaches dug. I think there are a lot of frustrated fans who write on this forum but gentlemen & ladies PLEASE try to be patient. If you think this mess will be repaired in a year you are living in a fantasy. It took almost 10 years to mess it up it will certainly take a few years to fix. So write the Murray's if you are truly unhappy and can't wait a couple years for this to turn around.

Hopefully the guys will get healthy and we can see some good basketball down the stretch. I'm patient. I just think that when you have a guy as good as Hart, you have to surround him with two other players or he'll be wasted. I think every guy that has played (frosh) has had some good moments.

RedFOx your usually spot on w pov & stats (great work) ... I'm still high on Obi. Is he still hurt? He has to be like Tebow, horrible in practice but I'm pretty sure he will show up game day w/ opportunities. Maker needs to play him. I'm shocked he isn't getting minutes. Lee is a solid floor/game manager ... he's worried about making mistakes & disappointing coach. If maker gives him the green light he will create/score more. If we put it together in MAAC play the season can still be successful. I believe in coach Maker! My assessment of the Fr is only half stat based, it's also eye test. My eye's tell me if Coil and Momah can't steal minutes from Troug and Brooks that is a monumental problem. My eye's see a slow shot release from Coletta and difficulty adjusting to the speed of this game. My eye's see a slow first step and average at best foot speed from Lee. My eyes see good athletiscm and quickness from Griffin but a lack of polish shooting, passing and handling. He's got some potential. My eyes see good athletiscm, shooting potential and decent quickness from McCelhagan. Needs to get stronger and work on post game. Also potential. What does everyone else think. The latter four have all accrued 100's of minutes this year. Please tell me if I am off?

For him and Coil I'm basing thoughts solely off of trusted high basketball knowledge sources who have seen them practice. I was never impressed with Coil's tape but Monah I was on board with like everyone else. I thought he'd be a big signing. Perhaps his shot is super slow and his footwork is terrible but his sheer athleticism and strength I would assume could forge him ahead of some of the guys who are currently playing. Despite what I've heard I would like to see him get some play over the next few games too.
