So...everyone on this board has pretty much pegged Morton to be the starting PG. Granted nobody has seen him play at the college level, but, for this post i'll drink the Kool-Aid and say he starts.
Martin will NOT want Morton to be a scoring PG, he has that with Price right? He'll want him to be a pass first PG. Which means we should not expect to see Morton average double digits in scoring.
With Rusin and Prescott gone, who picks up the scoring slack?
I have a funny feeling that Price is going to start at the 2 this year. That he will play a Jason Terry like role with Morton playing like Jason Kidd. I think Price is going to have the green-light to shoot this year, moving him off the ball allows him to get to the bucket, which he has proven he can do.
However, that's just one theory. What do you guys think about who our top scorers will be next year?

If Martin sees what he has in Alexis, it will be Anell. He has explosive ability. I think his line goes something like 14.5 pts, 5.5 rebounds, 2 steals next year if he is given 30 minutes a game.

Do you think he will play the 2 or the 3?

Price Will lead in points per 40 minutes but you can't bank on him being the leading scorer.. There's no telliing what CM will do with his minutes.
I wouldn't be surprised if Carter leads the team in scoring... If he gets the minutes.

Morton is much more of a Barea than Kidd Exactly my thoughts. Don't sleep on Lewis to be our leading scorer, maybe fighting it out with Carter because he proved to be our only scorer down the stretch. I predict: Morton 9ppg Lewis 10ppg Anell 8ppg Bowie 6ppg Carter 12ppg Kemp 6ppg Price 7ppg Thomas 2ppg Prinsloo 2ppg Hall 6ppg Curry 2ppg That's like 70ppg, probably more than we will score but those are optimistic averages.

Lewis will get 15ppg...Morton having to be a playmaker will have 12ppg.. Curry is a sleeper alot of people think he wont play much I think he will get no less then 8ppg of bench and is a great combo guard if play with a run and gun system..Lewis played at West 4th today had 11pts in 15minutes in the unlimited division..

I believe it will be a balanced attack ... W/ Morton leading the way as a quality distributors (making others better/look better) .. the scoring should be spread out ..
Morton 8ppg 6 ast Lewis 9.7ppg Anell 11ppg Bowie 10ppg Carter 8.2ppg Kemp 7ppg Price 7.8ppg 4 ast
...ish haha

I also believe in order for this team to get their fair share of wins this coming season, it will have to be w/ Defence. Many of their points should be from strong defence, grab a loose ball/ reb, get a steal and score in transition. I believe Chunk needs to focus on D /Rebs more than any thing else ... Just my feelings

Morton 8 ppg, 5 apg Lewis 11 ppg Bowie 7 ppg, 5 rpg Carter 12 ppg, 5 rpg Kemp 9 ppg, 9 rpg
Price 7 ppg, 2 apg Alexis 6 ppg
Thomas, Hall, Curry, Prinsloo ...7 ppg = 67 ppg

I think we are going to see more points from Price this year he can create his only shoots and he can now play the 2 spot,
Morton is going to beat a lot of guys causing the double team or help and thats where Price is going to get some extra numbers. We never had this because our point guard play featured more turn overs than assist.

Morton. Wasn't it Zag's Blog that reported that the staff privately compared Morton to KeKe Clark? The same KeKe clark that lead the ncaa in scoring. The gift to "The Gift" from the staff is going to be a big old green light on offense.
