Maybe he's 6-7 I could not tell how tall he was. He was taller than coach Lee and shorter than Adam Kemp. We are losing two 6-9 guys? We already lost a 6-7 skinny no rebound forward, who incidentally could shoot. A 6-9 guy who was never part of the plan this year is graduating as is a little used 6-2 guard. So we are replacing them with a 5-9 point guard and a 6-5 slasher/shooter. So if we can get another guy who is 6-6 or bigger I'm fine with that. We are set with bigs for a while, presuming Kemp, Watson & Prinsloo all return. I think they need another big guy. Kemp seems injury prone. The other two are projects.

Ken, you go to a lot of games. I have been somewhat happy with the progress over the last 3 games. I was at the Iona game and I thought the team looked more like a team, coaches getting pumped up, players into it. Was it like that at the New Hampshire game as well. Would be great if they are taking on a "all of us against everyone" persona going into tourney.

First school in session home game i've missed in four years....was at a bar in the city for a bday, all at once received 8 texts centering around a near Korey brawl and some fiery hollering...can anyone verify this happening?

First school in session home game i've missed in four years....was at a bar in the city for a bday, all at once received 8 texts centering around a near Korey brawl and some fiery hollering...can anyone verify this happening? Since he has been playing again, Korey has had a renewed spirit, grabbing rebounds with both hands, pivoting with elbows out to clear space and claim the rebound. If I remember correctly, at the point there was almost a scuffle, KB got a good pass down low and the ball crawled over the rim and in as he was fouled and he must have exuberantly said something about it and one of the New Hampshire guys seemed to take exception to the celebration and started jawing in KBs direction. There was a player or two between the two guys, but they exchanged some heated words and glares, but the refs stepped in before it went any further. You missed a good game. They started off down 4-0, but then DC caught fire and hit 2 3s to tie it at 6, then I think Prescott or Price hit a 3 to put us up and Carter followed up with 2 more 3s to widen the lead. The lead grew pretty good and the team held on methodically the rest of the game with timely points whenever NH started to make a run. It reminded me of the Penn game, where they got down early, took the lead with a good run, got a 10-15 point lead and pretty much kept it in that range the rest of the way.

Yankee:
I thought something finally clicked in the first half of the Iona game. Since then they have played much better. They gave Iona a big lead but played them well to the end. It carried over into the next game when they played well but St. Peters is a better team. It sounded like the Fairfield game was similar. The NH game followed with a good effort. The D, the rebounding have improved. The offense, what ever it is called, is much better. That was the light I saw go off during the Iona game, the offense starting to click. The ball moving around, in and out, slashing to the basket, fighting for rebounds, getting offensive rebounds. All the elements seem to have come together in the last few games. Now you are one who points out that's when Korey started to play. True! I submit he is one part, a major part. The other things that changed several games ago were Dorvell Carter finally getting noticed and Devon Price starting in place of RJ. It's taken time for the "new" guys to mesh together but they seem to be playing more like a "team" than anytime in the past few years.
