I like Marist to get off to a quick start and maybe even have the lead at half. However they lose by 14-16. Fairfield won't be up for this game at the beginning and Marist needs to take advantage of that. PLAY ALEXIS AGAIN!

My biggest thing is I want to see Marist shoot well here. See if the feel comfortable on the floor, give us some hope for the tourney. I think its at the Arena, right?

Menelik with concussion issue? He's out but I did not hear why. Marist only played 7 guys that half.

Ding Darling sounded like he wanted to give up during the FF run.
Ed Weir pimping Olander and his 10 ppg, 7 rpg avg's for ALL MAAC FIRST TEAM.

Price has forgotten how to play. What's with the undisciplined shots and passes?

Menelik was "beaten up" in practice...can only play in emergency situation.

3 assists to 16 TO...brutal. Marist IS winning the rebound battle by ten right now.

That goes to my wanting good PG play and gives hope for next year if Morton can be a decent, consistent player. They just have to get rid of those scoring droughts they go through every game and then they spend the rest of the night playing catchup.

61-54 final...ugly turnover game for Marist. Overall not a disastrous outing...losing by 7 at the league #1, 14-2 in MAAC play. But still another loss. Really hurt having no depth. As unimpressed as I am with RJ Hall he is the better current PG on the roster. Price was a nice change of pace when he first entered the lineup but the scouting reports have caught up to him.
Nice game for Dorvell. 19 pts, 5 reb on 6-8 shooting...made some big shots to keep Marist in it at the end. Korey Bauer 9 pts 9 reb.
Sam with 13 but a rough game overall with 6 TO's and 5-15 shooting. His game will improve even more playing alongside a good ball handling PG...as will most of the team.

Fairfied game just ended. It was soooo close against now #1 team in the MAAC. Great efforts by Carter and Bauer who Martin stated was tremendous. I am sure better results than a lot of us expected against Fairfield. Hey, a couple of breaks and we could have actually won this game. That would have been so sweet. To quote Yankee, if he proves me wrong, that would be freaking awesome. GOOO MARIST!
