Isaiah can't get here soon enough. He'll beat the pressure.. Isaiah Thomas 1989? You think all this team needs is a 5'04" freshman point guard? This team needs to be flushed from top to bottom. Give me Kemp, Prescott and Bowie and the balance of the scholarships. I plug in Yankee as the coach and we will get 10 to 12 wins. Could it be worse? I doubt it. I was there. I saw it. I was ashamed. Marist is pissing scholarship money out the window.

Fairfied game just ended. It was soooo close against now #1 team in the MAAC. Great efforts by Carter and Bauer who Martin stated was tremendous. I am sure better results than a lot of us expected against Fairfield. Hey, a couple of breaks and we could have actually won this game. That would have been so sweet. Fairfield brought their "D" game.

I've changed my opinion of him 180.

Just going by the score of this game and what I saw against Iona, I actually feel some progress. Feel as good about this team at this moment as I did after Niagara and Canisius wins as they were right with Iona until 4 minutes to go and hung with top team on the road. Bauer's presence has a bunch to do with it IMO. They can win Friday and I would not be shocked if they are playing on Sunday (no I am not drunk yet) . Coach still needs to go no matter what happens in tourney though.

RE: ctfoxfan comment that FF brought it's "D" game
Going in I thought the Foxes had something less than a 10% chance of winning this game and FF playing down to the level of competition was the reason for the 10%. Close, but, close games/moral victories simply add another loss to the W-L column.
Niagara won tonight so it looks like we will fight it out for last place with Manhattan. Not good.

Price is a pretty good (combo) guard but today shows how much Marist needs a True PG ...

Looks like Siena is going to do its part and end up in 7th. They will lose out the tie breaker with Canisius based on Canisius beating St. Peters and Siena dropping both to St. Peters. Siena beat Loyola, which canisius has yet to do, but they get them at home next weekend, along with Manhattan, while Siena has to play at Fairfield and has a home game against the pesky Red Foxes. If Canisius finishes 6th, then Manhattan would have to win at Niagara or Canisius next weekend to end up in 9th, according to my calculations.

Ct,
I agree with your keepers. I'd add Alexis and Carter as keepers. I think a few guys are in over their head. Their two guys next year can both play. Morton is 5'8, not 5'4.. :-) The kid can play. They do need a backup though. I don't know what's up with Price.
