Went to high school with Morton and watched him many many times. He's probably the most exciting high school player iv'e seen in person ever. IMO Marist is extremely lucky to get this kid. Just about every game his Junior year there were scouts in the seats from West Virginia, Villanova, Seton Hall, etc. The only thing holding him back (Not really holding him back, most of the time he uses it to his advantage) is his height. If this kid were 6'3 or 6'4 he would be playing at a very good High Major college. Marist fans are gonna love this kid. He's electric, exciting and will make an instant impact. He's gonna fill the stands...believe me.

Hey , Yankee , I see you guys are very excited about your incoming point guard , Morton . And you should be from everything that I hear from hoop buddies in Philly and so . Jersey area . But we also have talented and diminutive point on the way in Lamin Fulton of Neumann Goretti of Philly . He had quite the day today against CTK of NY and their pg and George Mason commit , Corey Edwards . It seems like we are both in for a helluva four year ride with these talented and exciting players . Competition is the fun of being a fan , and I hope we see these two go head to head eight times in the next four seasons - actually twelve times counting the four MAAC finals . I just hope that JD can recruit another big to help Conley deal with Kemp and Watson . I miss reading your posts .

Jajk, thanks for that info. I remember you also had some good first hand knowledge on Hall a couple years back. Morton sounds like he is going to be great. I just hope our expectations aren't too high where we will be dissappointed by a good freshman year and not a GREAT one. He sounds like a confident kid though, so that probably won't be too much of a worry. JAJK, you need to come back to the MAAC board. Any chance of that?

Asking somebody to come back to the MAAC Board is like asking a recovering alkie to take a drink. What a bunch of mental midgets on that board. Siens's great. No wait. They suck . Fire the coach. Martin should be fired. No wait. His recruits are good. They talk without knowledge . Plus, you no none of them were athletes themselves... You're too good for that board Yankee.
