Nice run fueled by Bauer, Bowie and Sam to open up a 6 point lead and force Penn to use a time out.

Marist shooting 65% since halftime. Who'd a thunk it based on the first half?

Nice win. If only they can get Candon shooting well.. Nice job from the line. Kemp seems to make a huge difference. Let's build off of this win..

Penn was ranked 147 in the Sagarin. Nicest win in a long time.

Hall is strong from the line! This game was won from the free throw line. Marist makes 24 of 27 and goes on to win 66-57. Nice second half for Marist and spectacular from the free throw line. Hall with a nice game until you factor in the 9 turnovers, over half of Marist total. Welcome back Mr. Kemp. 21 solid minutes after sitting out a month. Really helped on defense and rebounding. Hopefully Rusin is saving the offense up for Loyola. Any win is a good win.

It would be great.. Get 2 or three good outings in a row. Then they can be a team that can be in the middle of the MAAC...

Fun second half. Marist played some good D in half two...limited the open outside shots which seemed to be Penn's bread and butter. Kemp is a game changer because of his defense. He did some decent things offensively too. Rusin uncharacteristically could NOT hit an open shot and he was wide open on all of those misses. RJ Hall continues the strong play. Sitting there watching I was surprised to see on the stat sheet the 9 TO's...it didn't seem like he had that many.
Hall is averaging 14.2 points and 4.6 assists over the last 7 games. He's shooting 48% from the field and 83% from the line during that stretch. Hall has made 25 FT's in a row.

Did the announcers mention about Goodwin... he was not active today. How long is Watson going to be out?

The announcer said Goodwin was out with a toe injury .. Watson injured his pinky during practice attempting a dunk (on his shooting hand , of course) .. not sure how long hes gonna be out
