Are there any Alum out there coaching at the Division I level that would want this job? Maureen Magarity Mark Prosser www.woffordterriers.com/coaches.aspx?rc=182&path=mbballLooks like Mark Prosser is still in the business. The late Skip Prosser's son and played for Dave Magarity at Marist until his career was cut short by a knee injury.

I was told that one of the guys on Tubby Smith's staff at Minnesota is a Marist Alumni. Anyone know who that is? Joe Esposito. I actually campaigned for him to get the job when they were looking for a coach after Martin. Not much positive came out from others though. He was also a head coach on a lower level, Angelo State I think. He did great at begginning but left the team abruptly during a rough last season. He is now the Minnesota director of basketball operations. He did get credit for being a top recruiter when he was an assistant at a Tennessee school. Getting an alum who wants to stay in the area would be a move that could pay big dividends.

After reading about Esposito why wouldn't he be a no brainer for Marist. He was a head coach and won a Championship and now he is at the highest level. If Tubby Smith would hire him why wouldn't we. I think he should be someone we go after hard. He has over 20 years in the business and I'm sure he has a strong love for Marist. We need a guy that has been a head coach before.

What happened at Angelo State? Leaving during the season after having so much success raises questions. He's been the DBO at U of M. since 2007. Would have thought he would have moved up or out into a assistant or associate coaching job by now if he was looking to get back on the career track.

Yankee's on it. ;D Personally, I haven't made up my mind if its more likely that Giorgis gets every question, or none of them. This event has the potential to have all the charm of 19th century dentistry.

I am gonna waste 40 dollars going to the 2 mens games, do I really want to waste a 7.50 beer on him? Beer consumption is more of a obsession with me than getting Martin canned. Now if Brady ever came to town.................

Thing is.. Do any of us not like Chuck? I want the guy to win.. I just wish he'd get them playing to a level that they are capable of. Bowie has talent. A lot of it. Prescott has a lot of talent. Rusin can shoot if set. Watson can score if he gets the ball in the right spot. He can shoot. Why hasn't he? Alexis can score. Play him 30 minutes every night. Dejuan should be a spare part. We know Price can play. We saw it. I just don't get it. I like Kemp. Bauer's offense really disappoints me. He should be good for 10 a night. This team should win some games.

Agreed ggaff ... i guess thts the million dollar question ... Martin need to fix tht .. like now .. however, I agree w/ Martin to a degree tho .. the players need to come ready to play each night and play w/ some pride (they need to use all their anger aND FRUSTRATION AGAINST THEIR OPPONENT) .. i kno the teacher plays a huge role when it comes to winning (obviously) but players need to bright energy and execute to the best of their ability ...

Petagay77 I think you right but the problem is this is a team that needs one player to take over at some point, this has to happen and its not something the coach can do, the other problem with that is I do not see any one on this team that can do that except Bowie or Watson. But next year I think Morton will take over this team. Its always easy to kick a guy when things are bad but if another coach coming in now will look like a star with the recruiting that Coach Martin has done.
But in his case he came and the last coach took this best players.

So these guys are young and need time but Morton will come in and takeover as a Freshman? Sorry not buying it yet we felt that way about other recruits
