Let’s face it this Fairfield team reminds us of Marist teams from day of past.
Fairfield has invested a ton into sports and this is result. Don’t tell me the arena hasn’t helped

Just put together 4 quarters with optimal effort and energy and I can accept the results either way. Would like to see some more steady improvement from Lee too.

Not expecting much either, but keeping up the scoring defense run they've been on, relative to Fairfield being the highest scoring team in the league, would be nice. If it's something like 65-50 that's probably fine.

The Stags have shot 144 more 3 pointers than their opponents. They have shot 25 or more in 11 of their 15 games. It’s no secret how they are going to play. It would benefit the Foxes greatly to guard the three point line and rebound like their athletic scholarships depends on it. The Stags average 74 points a game in league play. Foxes should take a page from John Dunne’s playbook and muck the game up as much as possible. If Marist lets FF play their game it will get late early.

Do we honestly have the athletic ability outside 2 players to do this though? Roster seems to play hard, gives the best effort. They just don't seem to be a highly athletic roster. This is just a bad matchup game. We going to need to hit a huge percentage from 3 and honestly hope they miss theirs

Let’s face it this Fairfield team reminds us of Marist teams from day of past. Fairfield has invested a ton into sports and this is result. Don’t tell me the arena hasn’t helped Kudos to the Fairfield Administration for raising the funds, but the college didn’t spend a dime of their own funds to build the Mahoney Arena. It was “100% donor funded” according to the FF website. I’m sure it will help them recruit but, Anderson, the difference maker for FF team, would be playing at Fordham today if the head coach who recruited her there hadn’t been fired. She wasn’t originally coming to FF and Fordham plays in a venue that’s officially called a gym. FF played at the Bridgeport Arena for years and they stunk. When Marist was great they beat and out recruited tons of programs that played in palaces when compared to the McCann. Frankly, it has more to do with the coach they hired and how she is laying out the vision for the program. Now it’s up to ED to sell her vision for Marist WBB and answer back.

The arena can’t hurt.
Agree on FU coach.
Also add to what does hurt, us at least, is not offering that last scholly

They played good enough to win the last three games but they must ahoot more (out shot 202 to 146), cut turnovers in half now avg. is 20 per game, and must shoot better on FT's missing 22 in the last 3 games. GO RED FOXES.

Cutting down on the turnovers, three second calls, etc should result in more shot opportunities. Also I imagine a coaching staff might like draining the clock a bit with the ball when your team isn’t built to win a shootout. But I’m projecting on that theory.

6'5" is one thing but if your vertical leap is 1" then people can rebound over you easily

They are letting body shots go, but calling ticky tack fouls.
