My guess is if they saw something out of zero in practice they’d give her a shot

Not expecting much either, but keeping up the scoring defense run they've been on, relative to Fairfield being the highest scoring team in the league, would be nice. If it's something like 65-50 that's probably fine. Pretty good call!

Can't complain. They had won 3 in a row, and they played hard today. FF is just better. Keep playing tenacious D, give full effort and let's hope Erin D can recruit more athletes going forward. FF just on a different level this year.

losing games either way! putting other players in like 0 would probably give them a chance to actually show off some skills! Looking at her profile, inspiring story. Sounds like she had a very nice high school career. I have to agree with nomar though. No coach is going to avoid playing a player if they can help. I do hope she finds her way into some minutes in an opportune time before the year is over.

FF just on a different level this year. I actually think coach did a good job mixing and matching players in situations. They just don’t have the skill players to match up with a top 100 team like Fairfield. Kudos to the staff for keeping the players bought in. It’s beyond me why Tompkins even sees the court. I would have thought they would have preserved the possibility of a redshirt as it’s obvious she is struggling mightily since returning from the injury. She cracked the starting lineup late last season and played well. This season her shots don’t make it to the rim. It’s like she forgot how to play. She was one of their better athletes. It’s sad to see her struggle.

FF just on a different level this year. I agree that Marist needs better athletes. However, they were athletic enough to hold the best team in the league to 14 point below their scoring average. IMO the bigger problem that needs to be addressed is recruiting some players who can play consistently on the offensive end. This group struggles to score 55 points a game with two first team all-MAAC players in the starting line up and playing huge minutes. After Fisher and Shazer the drop off in scoring ability is like a cliff.
