They have to do so much recruiting over certain players, mis-identifying talent or the lack thereof is how we got here. Exactly, and they way we look has got to be terrible for recruiting.

Unfortunate. Thanks to Kendall and the seniors.
Thank you Giorgis for 20 years. I genuinely wait year round for the season to start and hope to continue with Erin.

I know I'm biased, but I think they have to reopen the Ohio Pipeline....or at least the Midwest Pipeline. Maybe even steal some girls from the Hoosier State, a lot of good ballplayers there. Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois....heck we even had a pretty good player from Minnesota at one time.

And just like that the Giorgis era comes to an end And WBB will join the men in the MAAC wilderness. I'm not sure I agree - players in the last few years really didn't enjoy playing for Giorgis. Younger blood coaching will be a positive.

Saint Peter's might beat Manhattan, I would simply walk into the sea if I were Heather Vulin

I admit it'll be helpful to the program to get younger blood at the helm, but a large handful of recent players were either lazy in practice/conditioning or ballhawks wanting to be the star. The transfer window (and TM, of course) takes a significant share of the blame in that category.

Definitely recommend watching the press conference of Coach, Shazer, and Cunningham. Giorgis lets a bit loose (by his standards) on the MAAC about their 2020 decision awarding the title to Rider. Also about how he's been worried of losing transfers by his yelling (and leaving Doughty without enough talent). Seems maybe a hint at Weimar since he said he changed his approach this year and last.

So many pampered, bratty kids all over the country. Kids need the grow up all over.

His "yelling" got us into the NCAA Tourney multiple seasons. These kids are softer than Charmin Ultra nowadays, to heck with them.

It is a lot easier to be lazy when you hate coming to practice - in the end it falls on the coach (whether he recruited poorly or didn't match the needs of the players he recruited). Either way, WBB hasn't been a happy, or enthusiastic roster in a while (last year's team was successful in the tournament dispite the unhappiness).

Meh, I don't agree with that. Despite his demeanor? According to who? What do Fitz, Best, Dulin, O'Connor, Jarosz, etc. have to say about that? (Not Blais, her opinion became irrelevant for the reasons that were cited here - I wasn't the biggest fan of her when I was on campus with her myself).
It's one thing to suggest that today's athletes are different (completely the parents' faults by the way, saying this as a younger millennial) and require a different attitude than the one that Giorgis presented. I can understand that, he's an older guy and they're going to be set in their ways on how they do things. But when you say "multiple seasons" - they only made it in once since I graduated, which suggests to me you're implying the halcyon days as well, and I don't think that's remotely accurate.

"despite" his demeanor - are you fucking kidding me? I have talked to so many past players and none had anything bad to say about him, look no further then last week and see how many came back to wish him well.
His demeanor hasn't changed it is the players - they are too sensitive, their feelings get hurt at nothing.... ooo I was yelled at.
By your "name" my guess is you are someone who's feelings where hurt.....
