I know that Coach Giorgis pushed as hard as possible for Erin, as she has been loyal and earned an opportunity. I do fear that by not doing a search that included names such as Kresge, that they may have sold themselves short with this hire.

It would have been a mistake to do that. You open it up and Kresge says no - you have shot self in foot.
We need to totally take in the fact that there is only one Brian Giorgis - if you "find" the next one that coach will be gone right after their first trip to NCAA tournament - Marist is a stepping stone at best. As bad as things look right now - I really think we are one-two players from winning. It is going to be up to Erin to find them.
Erin needs to find her Gebbia and go from there.

Maureen Magarity and Holy Cross will be either outright 2nd or tied 2nd (3 seed) in PL. Back to back 20 win seasons. Kat Fogarty who played for her at UNH after transferring from Marist is on her staff.

I got to believe the career trajectory of Kresge is that of a Boston College not Marist College.

It’s promising to see another Marist assistant succeed. If anything it gives me more hope for Erin

Kresge fans can watch her Vermont squad host UAlbany for the America East Conference Championship this Friday. The game is broadcast on ESPNU beginning at 5pm. The teams split the season series each winning at home. The UAlbany roster features former Marist recruiting targets Grace Heeps and Lily Phillips.

Holy Cross upsets Boston to go dancing
Monmouth caught a heater in the CAA tournament, beat the 1 seed Towson by 25 points today on their own floor and they're in the NCAA tournament for the first time in 40 years.

Kresge's Catamounts were flattened by 43 at UConn on Saturday ending Vermont's 17 game winning streak.
UConn is getting healthy at just the right time. Lou Lopez-Seneshal basically saved the UConn season by anchoring the starting lineup in the absence of some of the big name UConn stars. It's not out of the question that the former MAAC star and POY will follow up last year's MAAC Championship with a national championship. I've never been a UConn fan but it's been fun to casually follow a former MAAC player have such an important and visible impact at the highest levels of WBB.
