Kresge's Catamounts were flattened by 43 at UConn on Saturday ending Vermont's 17 game winning streak. UConn is getting healthy at just the right time. Lou Lopez-Seneshal basically saved the UConn season by anchoring the starting lineup in the absence of some of the big name UConn stars. It's not out of the question that the former MAAC star and POY will follow up last year's MAAC Championship with a national championship. I've never been a UConn fan but it's been fun to casually follow a former MAAC player have such an important and visible impact at the highest levels of WBB. Would love to see them take down the Gamecocks and their cocky coach. Lou was being abused by South Carolina and got absolutely no calls from the zebras when they played last month. Gino was livid as he watched her get bounced from pillar to post in that game. Hopefully, there will be more competent officials when and if they meet in the tourney.

Announcers gave a little tribute to Kresge’s Marist run including the sweet sixteen run. I think they were running out of things to cover but none the less, still cool!
