Iona beat LIU tonight, but let a 23 point halftime lead become only a 9 point margin of victory. Camilion may have gotten hurt, she only played 12 minutes and subbed out for the last time with a minute left in the first half. Bears watching.

Siena goes 0-13 from deep and still beats Binghamton 54-50. If we did that we'd lose 50-38.

Quinny seemingly comfortable against Iona for much of the game, but Gaels outscored them 19 - 7 in the fourth quarter to win by 3.
Canisius beats Rider 74 - 67 in Buffalo

Manhattan welcoming the 2022 NEC champ Mount to the MAAC with a beat down at Draddy.

Niagara doing their Niagara thing again - 13 first-half turnovers for Rider, 10 offensive rebounds for Niagara, so despite shooting 59%, Broncs down by 8 at halftime
Q up 31-20 at the half against Manhattan, but apparently their 4th quarter meltdown against Iona was part of a pattern this season, according to their announcers.

Iona beats Niagara by 10 in a matinee despite a sluggish 4th quarter.
Prediction time - Iona will win the MAAC. Camilion/Athias/Mager is such a great combo of complementary talent.
Good news is they are all out of eligibility (plus the backup big Lipinski) after this season.

Do you think they’re actually good, or are they just well-placed to win in a year where the league as a whole looks shaky? Fairfield shoots 28% percent today to lose to Siena, who manages to win by 15 in a game where they commit 27 turnovers. And Quinny unable to overcome 32 turnovers against Niagara, who wins despite Aaliyah Parker not playing (Quinny,of course, missing DeWees, but she has been out all season and I don’t hear much optimism for her return)

I truly believe next year we go back to being the favorite. One or two transfers in (and we don't lose any), I think we become #1.

Extremely funny loss by Quinnipiac at a Niagara team with no Aaliyah Parker.
Not sure who would be a favorite next year. Q could potentially have year 6 DeWees and year 5 Morris.
Siena has young players they've been winning with. Honestly it might be the Saints at the top in 23-24.

She played a full season every year as an undergrad and using her COVID year as a grad student now. What am I missing?

I don’t believe she has played at all this season due to injury, so if she is still in grad school next year does her COVID year still apply?

I believe she would get a 6th year. That's if she wants to use it.
