Rider was only down three after the third quarter, then got outscored 26 - 8 in the fourth. Maybe playing the late game yesterday really was a big disadvantage?

in light of Saint Peter's (0-5) losing by 20 today to previously winless Central Connecticut, it's time to start considering the 22-23 Peacocks potential place in the pantheon of worst MAAC teams of all time. SPU has a pretty decent shot at an 0-for.
some contenders in chronological order:
2003 Iona - 1-27 (0-18 MAAC) 2007 Rider - 2-28 (1-17 MAAC) 2011 Niagara - 1-29 (0-18 MAAC)
honorable mention: 1990 Loyola and 1990 Iona were 5-51 combined with wins presumably against each other; 2013 Saint Peter's and 2018 Iona both won 2 games all year, but each of those wins was in league play.

All time St. Peter’s WBB is second only to Marist in Championships 11 to 9 and MAAC Championship Game appearances 15 to 13. 12 out of their 13 chip game appearances came between 1982 and 2002 as did all 9 of their titles.

I think it's pretty cool to see LLS go to UCONN and be a big part of their success

I just hope Kennedy found what she wanted in a college because she is not getting it on the court

The only team in the MAAC without a losing record is Siena, and they committed 27 turnovers in a win.
Marist could join the 500 Club tomorrow.

Q beat Lehigh by 3 after Rose Caverly took over down the stretch.

Fine human beings all, but nothing of basketball value was lost.

Emma Wax 9 pts, 4 boards per game in 27 minutes per game at D-III Trinity. Maybe she’s the one who accurately matched her ambition to her ability?

Fairfield at Fordham on SNY this evening at 5:30 pm. The coaching change really hasn't slowed the Rams down at all, 4-3 with close losses to Maryland, Princeton and Washington. Good win over South Dakota and they've crushed the teams they should crush. Will be interesting to compare the defending MAAC champion Stags against them.

Niagara drops to 1-6 with a 4th quarter fade against St. Bonaventure. Purps have frequently run out of gas down the stretch this season.
