men's lax playing on ESPNU right now at Quinnipiac. 10 am timeslot to be on television, that's real MAAC hours right there. LOL. However, a 17-10 road win is a good thing anytime of day, on any channel. Chance to keep the good times rolling with a mid week game at... (checks notes) #4 Princeton. Ahh. Well then.

VMI will be returning to MAAC men's lacrosse next season after 10 years in the Southern Conference. This will help the MAAC retain their AQ in the wake of the loss of Monmouth and the expected departure of St. Bonaventure to the new Atlantic 10 men's lax league (SoCon will no longer sponsor MLAX, their AQ will transfer to the A10).

MAAC really blew an opportunity to become a lax power conference IMO

The MAAC blowing opportunities to build itself up as a conference is not exactly a new phenomenon.

men's lax shared the regular season title with Bona following the OT win over Monmouth today at Tenney that also eliminated the Hawks. Buh-bye.
Marist will host both semis (Thursday) and the championship (10 am Saturday on ESPNU) because Bona isn't eligible to host (MAAC doesn't let affiliate members host postseason games).
We play Manhattan and the Bonnies draw Siena in the semis. Foxes beat the Jaspers on the road by 1 and Siena shocked Bona last weekend with a 5-goal comeback in the waning minutes.
Baseball looking to sweep Iona tomorrow after hanging 42 runs on them yesterday and today combined. Marist battling it out with Fairfield and Canisius at the top of the league standings.

Iona's baseball team is 3-35 this season. Ouch. I remember when St. Peter's went winless 5 or 6 years ago...

Brutal OT loss to Manhattan in the semifinal. The face off loose ball just kept squirting away from everyone on both teams until finally a Jasper who was already standing next to the Marist goal collected it and stuffed it home. Nothing the goalie could do about it.
Very reminiscent of the tournament loss at Canisius last year.

SBU in the finals. They only started their program 3 years back. What a joke the MAAC is. Another example of how the league is D3 masquerading as D1. Any Tom Dick and Harry can come in and compete

They won 12-2 in the first game to clinch the 5 seed this weekend in Buffalo. Play Rider on Wednesday.
Currently up 4-0 in the 6th inning in the nightcap trying to secure a winning MAAC record.
