have we upgraded our team from this last season ? i think we have to say yes ..12- 13 wins is a must ,really looking for .500 ..12 wins should have been well in reach last year without some bonehead plays and calls . So we have to be optimistic .I just don't know if we get the easy ooc schedule as we had last year. in terms of small ball ,,dunne's championship team was very small basketball.realgm.com/ncaa/conferences/Metro-Atlantic-Athletic-Conference/17/Saint-Peters/172/rosters/2011the one 6 10 guy i don't think even played

Basketball has changed over the last 10+ years. You don’t need a Shaq down low. If you have athletic guys, tallest 6’7-8 you should be fine especially in the maac

I can see both Byrd and Sullivan starting with Cubbage coming off the bench as the 6th man like what Dunne did with Funk, and he won the 6th man award.

I think Cubbage can be incredibly valuable in that role. Minus his outside shooting he can do a little bit of everything. Hopefully he thrives in that role. Probably won't see much time at PG any more but as a 2nd ballhandler at times he will certainly still help with it.

The write up for Sullivan was really good. A lot more comfortable with this class.

Im hopeful that Sullivan is a differentiating type player. A play maker who can score and distribute. I think he kind of has to be for the elevation of the program that we all crave. We wont know for sure until we see him for a number of games in November/December.
Hopefully all of the other guys show up as improvements as well

Sullivan has 2. The other three have 4. This is going to be a nice nucleus.. Now get the future frontcourt in the next group. Sullivan and Byrd are going to be a tough tandem to deal with. They'll blow by you, but can make you pay with a three. I agree about Cubbage. Some people were tough on him. He was asked to do an awful lot. He may thrive with this help. Let him use his size.. Overall, he was very good.
