I’d taken 15 wins without blinking .... the 10 however is failure Yes, as would I. I had to be positive in the range as well. Looking at it I think 10-12 wins is reachable. Beyond that I'd be surprised. Pleasantly so and I hope it comes. I just don't know if I see a roster as constructed that can do more then that. Well somebody saw something and gave him 4 stars. Probably another million dollar body and a 10 cent head.

I remain hopeful for the following reasons: 1) With position-less basketball now "in" and the transfer rules making everyone seemingly a free agent every year, you really need to take a shorter-term approach to the team each year, and to borrow a NFL draft term, take the best available players. 2) With all of the player movement now, you should be able to fairly easily get the next JJ or Enoh through transfer or JUCO next year, so I'm not that concerned. 3) Niagara seemed to win a lot of games this past year with no inside presence, so it can be done. 4) Most of our guards have some size to help with the rebounding (look at Cubbage's rebounding numbers last year - 6.1 per game, 2 games with double digits and 9 rebounds twice in the last handful of games). 5) I don't think the MAAC will have too many dominant centers because if they are truly dominant, they will transfer up Sophomore year. 6) As we know, not every player turns out to be as great as his highlight reel, so it's good to collect several possibilities and let the cream rise to the top.

The staff as acknowledged the need for and addressed the PG position. Time will tell the impact. Wright/Cooley are very telling as to what the staff thinks of last years recruits.

Well, then they have replace Cubbage, St. Furcy and Sagl in the starting line-up by January or else the program is simply spinning it's wheels again. No? PG: Byrd, Cubbage SG: Sullivan, Sagl, Saint-Furcy SF: Herasme, Bell, Cooley, Wright PF: Enoh, Makeny C: Jones, Tordorf

It's not who starts the game that get the most PT, it'll be match-ups along the way.

To start the season, I don't think we see a change in the starting lineup from last year in my opinion. Potentially Enoh over Jones but that's it.

Id expect a starting lineup of Enoh, Bell, Herasme, Cubbage and Sullivan. I think Jones and Byrd get big minutes off the bench. Whichever 1 or 2 of Cooley, Wright, St Furcy and Sagl play the best round out the 8 or 9 man rotation. Perhaps Wright cuts into Cubbages time. Makeny and Tordoff will be hard pressed for PT

For anyone interested (Canisius and St. Peter's are likely still in the running) Toyaz Solomon will be announcing his commitment on Facebook live on Halifax County Schools page in about a half hour /

I guess you can look at it 2 ways:
1 - we couldn't out recruit a team that had a worse record then us
or
2 - we dodged a bullet because he might not be as good as we thought, only going to Maryland East Shore

That's a bit surprising, at least he won't be in the league if he does become good.
