Off to a great start this year 2-0-1 ...won last night's game with .01 sec. left in regulation (out of 90 min. For those of you rank soccer right up there with Curling in the Olympics)
This is a program that should be way more successful then it has been.

Has the coaching staff been the same for years? I agree they should do well. Such a huge base to draw from as soccer is huge for the youth in this area and surrounding areas.

From what I've been told by a former player, Marist soccer's been trying to reach out to the Mid-Hudson soccer community; from youth up to the high schools. My guess is that they're trying to recruit local products away from the bigger D1 powers. Apparently, they've taken a page from the lacrosse program. Good stuff! ⚽

Well, that #22 ranking was short lived.

soccer quickly went back to what we have expected from the program - after a great start they are 1-3-0 in last 4 including blowing a 2-0 half time lead against Qunny - the have given up way too many goals in last 10 minutes of each game.

Nice win yesterday verse Iona 3-1
Harr has 10 goals in 10 games that is remarkable.

I was surpised to see that the soccer team was picked 7th, but was even more surprised to see Harr not get preseason all-MAAC. Then I saw that he transferred to Virginia.

Yeah that was a huge loss for this team - they literally recruited him out in the open from Marist. But in reality it is a no brainer for go to Virginia for soccer.

Cameron Harr came back to Marist after sitting out for injury for a year.
My question is he allowed to play right away (And does he have 1 or 2 years left?)

he can play right away, there's no penalty for transfering.
