Zero interest from my perspective. It'll be the same as last year. We may not have won a lot more but the ball moves more. Let's hopefully get a transfer or two and hope these freshmen are as good as advertised. I still think Williamsen is going to be in the starting lineup by the MAAC games.

NIL money for mid-major sports will happen about as often as a hole-in-one. No student loans, a good education, Playing in another country in todays world is a road that could be open, however, I would rather take my education and stay in the USA. Seven of the eleven current MAAC schools have associated with an NIL collective. I could not find evidence of collectives associated with The Mount, Rider, St. Peter’s and, of course, Marist.

Eva Dechant from Putnam Valley entered the portal after a year at URI. Assuming she's going higher but fingers crossed.

Jade Blagrove (Manhattan) to St. John's. I'll be brutally honest, I don't see her as a Big East level player, but good for her I suppose.

Grad year. Good experience and solid player. Better than a freshman in most instances.
I will say, Courtney Worley was good but if she went somewhere else she would’ve developed into an animal. I can’t believe how athletic she was and they never developed her offensively.

I am curious to know how many don't find another school or have to pay way. Also would like to know how many where "asked" to enter portal vs those who went on their own

I looked at WBBBlog/Raoul's website for last year, and I was surprised, it doesn't look as bad as I originally thought (for not finding a new school).

With the free COVID year expiring there should be more opportunities for traditional four year recruits. IMO that is a good thing.
