Could someone put in a call to Bill O'Reilly? I think the relationship with Bill O’Reilly probably ended when Marist revoked his honorary degree in 2018. Oh yeah, forgot about the great me-too cancel culture revolution.

He has a video somewhere bashing the woke admins and stated he will never give another penny to the school which they ruined. Here it is: youtu.be/uOB_rdyE1GE?si=FZeBd9mx7Af4_w0j

Is there any push from someone like Giorgis or Smits to get an NIL collective off the ground? Or is Marist trying to actively discourage that? I’m under the impression it’s Marist trying to look better than everyone else saying we only care about education.

Stellato would be great. He would make every potential donor an offer they can’t refuse.

NIL money for mid-major sports will happen about as often as a hole-in-one. No student loans, a good education, Playing in another country in todays world is a road that could be open, however, I would rather take my education and stay in the USA.

He has done nothing to help teams succeed. He keeps throwing up road blocks.

I think that statement potentially lacks a lot of context. This is a small school with a largely irrelevant athletics program even within the area. Where's that NLI money coming from? I can't imagine any sports other than basketball players getting any of that money anyway.
There's a world of difference between Tim saying "if you want it, leave, because you'll never get it because we don't care" and "if you want it, we're working on it but the benefits may not start showing up until after you graduate, so staying here is something you have to think about."
