We've had three years of this current coaching staff. I was reading all the posts and it dawned on me, what kind of team would we have if it was made up of all the guys who have left Marist prior to graduation. Then I wondered would they be a good match for the guys who remain?
(I tried to do my research but there will be some names I missed.)
Players who left or were lost due to the current "situation"
LD Williams Kaba Drummond Johnson Prescott Rusin Watson Lost recruits(that we know of) Naofall Folahan (Ming) Amby Fall Marcus Hooper Marquis Barnett
Players who remain
Kemp Bowie Alexis Carter Price Hall Prinsloo Morton Thomas Lewis Curry
Who wins this game? The Left or the Remain?
Did I leave any player or recruit out?

under the "left" column was the kid with the greek last name.
I totally am drawing a blank on the spelling. He transfered to a texas school? that went to the NCAAA tourney this year.

Vouykos or something like that. I remembered him but was not sure he left under Martin or left because of Brady.
I did not consider walk-ons. But since he got lots of PT he could belong in the "left" column

Good topic Ken. Give me Prescott Rusin Kaba Ming and Dream with Watson Johnson and Williams off the Bench.. Coached by Brady. They would be long as hell and athletic

Let me ask you a question what makes these kids any different from Brady all of them run for the hills in bad times.
also no one address the question why are the parents of the kids that are still around not pulling there kids Anell's parents are at every game and I bet if Chuck was a bad coach like some on this board are say why is Anell still at Marist and his parent look like they dont play.

Good topic Ken. Give me Prescott Rusin Kaba Ming and Dream with Watson Johnson and Williams off the Bench.. Coached by Brady. They would be long as hell and athletic Dream and Menelik. Who wasted their talent more? Both were out of shape. Both failed their coach and teammates, one through his academics, one through a rumored fight and love for food. I would say Cassiem because his talent was at a big east level. Unfortunately his heart and desire were on the tinmans level. Watson however really should be ashamed of himself as well.

Don't for get rusin who in his second year could not hit the side of a barn. I guess that was CM fault maybe he should of been shooting for him.

Igotyouback, you are right. I remember I was not ready for college when I was 18. I can't imagine how difficult it can be for someone who does not have the total support of their family. I see the Alexis' at the games, but I also see Ms. Carter. I am certain there are other parents who attend their son's games but not if they are from LA or England. Hopefully the incoming freshmen bring their family and friend to the games, God knows we need the increase in attendance! Maybe Wendell sees a future Boeheim in Martin LOL.
Lastly Rusin leaving had IMO little to do with CM. It had more to do with PT. He knew his time would be further diminished with the freshmen guards coming in and the realization that he could not handle the ball at this level of competition.
