Nice work Petagay, but the kid only avg 15.8 rebounds per game! Calling coach Joe, since Chris is a Fl. kid, can you tell us anything about Chris.

Petagay,
Is this inside info??? Or did you read it somwhere? I hope they land someone. I was hoping to here something on the other three... 23 a game must mean he has some skills regardless of the level.. I read that he was a pole vaulter. Shae Mac was a vaulter in H.S. as well.

The pole vaulter a different Chris Uhle. Shae Mac was a high jumper. The basketball playing Uhle has interest from Navy, Princeton and Chattanooga.

Yeah its inside info from a very valuable source ... I haven't been able to find anything marist related on this young man but he's def being looked @ strongly .. I like this kid, seems like hes a banger/ aggressive like kemp but play more like a PF than a center ...
Yeah im hoping to hear something/ anything (need two of these 4 bigs - like all the bigs we are interested in) at this point with the signing period coming to an end on May 18th (i believe) but im confident they will sign @ least one of these guys soon.

I saw him in an All-Star game in late March. He is a nice looking kid that comes from a good program. He is skilled big kid that as he gains size could be a great addition. He is a good perimeter shooter and passer. He will attack the glass but is more comfortable from 10-15 feet and can hit the three. He seems to be very fundamentally strong. I wish I had him on my team we may have won a championship this year. I am looking forward to Jay finishing exams and heading home to work with my underclassman.

With the signing period coming to an end in two weeks all these unsigned kids will have to finally make a decision. So I think Marist is in a good position to land one or two of the guys we've been hearing about. Personally I'd rather have a quick 6-7 or 6-8 kid than another slow face the basket 6-10 kid.
Is it at all possible we are looking at a 6-10 kid because the coaching staff is concerned about Kemp's durability?

If Marist is looking for a pole vaulter they should try to get Jordan Yamoah from Arlington HS. Has the NYS pole vaulting record. But I think Pete Colaizzo already knows that.

Im really rooting for Marquis Barnett 6'7 237 .. this kid would fit w/ our team well and do all the little things we would need ... bang (hustle), rebs, blocks, and defense!

Couldn't agree with you more on Barnett, and for all the reason you state. Marist already has their face up, perimeter oriented post with Prinsloo. I want to see that defense oriented, rebound hawking power forward.

Barnett and Fall. They'd have rebounding and altering.... You're right Oldfox. Shae Mac was a high jumper. I think he was one of the best in Wisconsin. I think you're right Ken. We'll hear something soon. The clock is running out. I'm not that worried about Kemp's durability.

Shae Mcnamara is a name that annoys me just hearing it. He was the whiniest, complainiest player in the history of Marist. I many times at games was saying, "shut up" when he complained about every call with that face of his all scrunched up. He was a wasted talent. He had top athleticism, had length, but he just had no clue.
