In hopes that he reads the board , lets think of some gameplans/decisions he can make to maximize this oppurtunity. I will start with one and then analyze Niagaras roster a bit more and come up with some others. Lets get this done for the players. Any ideas? 1) Coach Martin, you actually found a gem in Anell Alexis. Play him 32 minutes or more unless he fouls out. I understand he supposedly has some lapses on the court, but as you have proven, no one is perfect, PLAY HIM.

Friday hinges largely on Prescott's ability to play on his bum ankle. I think a tight rotation of price/prescott/bowie/carter/bauer with rusin/alexis/menelik is our best bet to beat niagara. Let's see how many people make the trek to bridgeport for this one. I think marist should have a fan advantage.

How about making a commitment to defense first. Get some stops, some turnovers, force Niagara deep into the shot clock get the damn rebound and get out and run. That's when this Marist team looks the best, not when they are throwing the ball around the perimeter looking like a bunch of lost souls. Niagara sucks too, especially away from home. No reason for this not to be a competitive game.

No reason for this not to be a competitive game. Good point on them not traveling well. NIA is not good away from home...3-15 -11.8 scoring difference. Of course our number are worse than that. Keys to beating them are: 1. Contest the three. They are a very poor three point shooting team...unless you leave them wide open which we did at their place. They shot 13-25 (52%) from three in that game. For the season they average 5.5-19.8 (28%) from three...that's awful. 2. Hit the glass. NIA is a terrible rebounding team. One of the worst in the country. They have been outrebounded in 25 of 31 games. When we beat them we owned the glass. The game we lost was one of the 6 times they outrebounded an opponent. 3. Keep likely ROY Jordan in check. Last time we played them Jordan had a career night setting highs in FG, 3 Pointers (7-10) and points with 27. He was ina great stretch averaging 19.6 ppg over 5 games including that one. He's cooled off since averaging 11.5 ppg over the last 6 games.

do something to get Bauer angry, he plays best when he can't think limit Candon's time especially if he makes 2-3 mistakes in a row. when someone picks and rolls, get him the ball on the roll! get 10+ assists and we win. oh and no players can have any sex before the game, that's a no-no lol!
