I think every player on this team (except Prinsloo, Dallas and Mcderby) has shown/proven they have ability to be a solid contributor.

I think every player on this team (except Prinsloo, Dallas and Mcderby) has shown/proven they have ability to be a solid contributor. I agree the other 9 returning players have all shown the potential and ability is there. Most have not proven they will realize the full potential at this point. I look for that next year, It MUST happen next year for at least half of the returnees. This year of the 4 retuning freshman, two got better, one stayed the same pretty much and one regressed. If Prescott and Carter polish their games and get better for the JR year and two or three of the freshman improve as well, plus Morton than maybe next year they can get to where they need to be...no fewer than 9 MAAC wins and at least 14 or so overall.

I agree RF5. I think Prinsloo could develop with time as well. He runs the floor pretty well. Him and Watson just need to adapt to the speed of the game. He just needs to work really hard in the offseason. He's got some ability. I thought Watson looked a lot quicker and in tune in the Siena game. Once the light goes on, sometimes players never look back. I think the light went on for Alexis. Did you guys notice a difference in Price as well?? He looked in control. If Watson and Kemp both take the logical next step, the inside game should be ok. This will be a very important offseason. I love the way Alexis and Carter played aggressive in the Siena game. Maybe I'm dreaming. I watched the Siena game again. I saw a different team on offense. And that was with no offense from the center position. One thing that really benefits Alexis. He shoots free throws well. If he's aggressive, that's 6 points a game. Prescott should be the same way. The one thing that is forgotten is that they've seldom had all players available for one reason or another. Let's hope for a healthy 11-12 season and a great season in the classroom. Then we'll see the improvement we are hoping for. I don't think 10 and 15 is a stretch. That would be a normal progression. They looked like a team against Siena. I liked the team unity that I saw. I don't give a bleep if some guys want to be negative. I've played on enough teams. I liked what I saw in that Siena game from a team standpoint. The effort was tremendous and if they take the next step, they can be a nice team next year.
