I think Marist with its A+ game could pull off an upset on Friday...Saturday...well Marist is 0-5 and been outscored by 22.2 per game by SPC, ION, FF and RID, two of those will be the 1-2 most likely. Those results were with Kemp for the most part. I know it looks nuts after the 2 games, but I think Saint Peters can be had. Jenkins is not 100 percent and Bacon has never really improved that much. They do have depth, but nothing that scares me.

All is forgotten (this season) when we beat Siena in the TUC @ the end of the month! ;-)

In my view, there is a lot more to gain in playing Siena in the PIG than there is to lose. I actually do agree with that. We will most likely lose to anyone we play in the PIG but if by some miracle we win that day it would mean more vs. SIE than NIA or Man. Seriously you thought my tone was absolute? lol I just wanted to see what reaction that possible scenario would receive given the history of painful losses Marist has had to Siena over the 14 years in the MAAC. Yeah, I got the idea that when you said "we look headed for 10th", that you meant we look headed for 10th. Just bustin' your balls I will now attempt to summarize my feelings in this regard, I think there is a shot we could beat any of the other teams headed for the PIG or we could lay an egg and lose to any of them. Although losing to Siena would be most painful out of all of them, I do not think it would set us back at all, but beating them could do wonders for both programs.

Its my senior year, I've ruined nights by getting so depressed after the losses vs siena, ive never seen my team beat siena... I want them in the tournament. My only wish its that it was at the TUC. I hate siena, ever since two years ago when their drunk ass students spit and threw things at us and security did nothing except prevent me and my friend from entering the stands and putting a stop to it...oh yes, I want siena at the tournament... I want bauer-rossitter, I want siena to travel for once for the conference tournament and lose without homecourt afvantage

Also while Manhattan stinks and should lose all 4 games left don't forget we are MARIST and based on the last 20 years Man will find a way to have one ridiculous, unexpected win vs a non PIG team over the last 4 and find a way to get the 9 seed. Well Man didnt wait long to get that win (not that it was thaaat stellar of an opponent)...now the suspense...can Marist get another win to avoid last? Can Manhattan? If not who will finish better Can or Sie??? The suspense is mind numbing! And yes I realize that while Man winning increases the likelihood we finish last, since it happened vs. Sie it decreases the chances we play them in the PIG...if Sie falls to 7th it means Can is 6th and Marist finishes 9th.

The only thing that would make this season semi-tolerable would be if Siena wound up in the PIG. Living in Albany, I'm sick of hearing the excuses and the insistance that Siena is still the premier team in the league. In fact, just this morning I heard a Siena grad say "Siena is better than these teams that are beating them." Well, uh, no. If they were better they would win those games. Of course this is the same Siena grad that earlier in the season was touting Ryan Rossiter as an NBA prospect. Seriously.
