Marist must be competitive here. Niagara is the BEST team in the conference at causing turnovers and is second in turnover margin...Marist is Worst in these two categories so that's obviously a match-up problem...but...it's the only one.
Niagara is Horrid at everything else..worst shooting team in the league, worst 3 pt shooting team in the league, worst scoring team in the league and by far the worst rebounding team in the league...Marist is 8th in rebounding margin at -3, Niagara is last at -11!
This game is on MSG.
Go Marist!

Marist getting thumped so far 19-8 NIA...NIA 5-5 from three...they shoot under 29% for the season.
Skylar Jones 20 vs Marist in Pok, NOTHING since, 0-14 in his last 4 games with 0 points...already is 3-3 for 9 pts in this game.
Jones is 8-13 from three vs. Marist...16-60 vs. everyone else.

Freshman Marvin Jordan of NIA with 19 first half points already.
How many of our vaunted Freshman have ever had 19 points in an entire game? The answer is 1...Prescott last year once.

This is ridiculous. First Robert Olson has his all-time games against us. Then the guy on Manhattan who scored 10 points against us last game when he had not scored ANYTHING all year ( and I mean 0 points) and now a 29% 3-ft shooting team is taking them from pro-range and/or with a hand in their face and they cannot miss. There is a cloud of gloom over this team. They should all be required to read "The Secret", so they can get some positivity going to turn this around.

37-24 NIA with Nelson at the line...
NIA freshman Jordan and Jones with 21 and 11 each...our Sophs and Frosch getting BADLY outplayed by NIA Freshman.

Dewd, if you are out there, please explain to me what I should be happy about in this game to this point. 38-24 with about 2 minutes to go to a team that has 1 MAAC win and 4 on the season.

The battle of 4-20 teams and Marist is down 13 at half - the only people drinking have to be the posters that think this will change in time. Only thing time is going to drag this out longer - a change has to be made. Again anyone who thinks the problem with this team is a PG and 9 months is delusional.... because all you preaching patience that is the only thing that will change by next years tip off

42-29...pitiful half of ball for Marist. Jordan is going to be avery good player in this league and he's torched Marist...He has been a very spotty 3 pt shooter this year, made alot but missed alot as well...today all makes. Jones on the other hand has only played well a handful of times this year but is all league vs. Marist.
Marist getting poor shots on O. Very poor ball movement, hardly and penetration.

I think Niagara had circled this game on their calendar as one they could win, which has given them a little confidence that probably had been missing. They hit a couple of 3s and off they go. Sort of like what we did when they came to our place. Unless Marist comes back to win Yankee, I do not think anything good can come out of this game other than getting them one game closer to better times.

Can't coach, can't recognize what talent he has. He will be gone by the end of this year.

Nice, you just summed it up for the Martin must go crowd with that first line. HOW SAD is it that a 1 win MAAC team circles Marist as a game they can win. HOW SAD?
