Revenge game. They toasted us at their place last year.

UNH has some injuries...their second and third leading scorers are both out. Not sure if that will be the case when we play them. This team can rebound. Killed up on the glass last year. They have two players averaging 8 rebounds a game. They are a weak three point shooting team. They play alot of close games. Only have a handful of blowout wins and losses. Lost to UCONN by just 9.

If NH comes to Potown all beat up as you describe, then Marist has no excuses for a loss. Undermanned, bad opponent at home. That should be a lay up.

They just beat BU by 12 even with the two scorers out. We scored 37 points at BU and lost by 21.
But UNH IS bad. 58.5 ppg is even less than we score...they shoot slightly worse from both the field and the 3PT line than us as well. They've only scored more than 65 points in a game four times this year and one of those was vs. a DII team.

Marist does turn the ball over more on average than does NH, but, again, no reason not to do better than "average" in this game. Home game against a bad team.

I agree...no excuses...
of course Holy Cross, UC-Irvine, Manhattan...all losses at home to bad teams.

How many more games can Marist win this year? This one is winnable, at Niagara and at Canisius are unlikely but not impossible, the PIG game will likely be winnable.
It would be awesome if this team could still pull a surprise in one of the other five games...at Siena, at FF, home vs Iona, St. Peter's and Rider.
Other horrid Marist teams from 1996-1997, 2003-2004 and even 2008-2009 each had a legit win at home vs a top of the league team. Last years team was a different level of bad but this years tam is SUPPOSED to be on the level with those other 3 teams I mentioned above.

More than that, IMHO, depends on what is at stake for the opponent, and by that I mean seeding. I just don't see them beating a "better" team in a high stakes game for the opponent. And for the record, I hope they win them all.

I want them all and @ least 1 post season win (that would be great motivation to start next season, of course) just wishful thinking i guess ...

Now that the Manhattan game is behind us I think the guys will put it all together and win out, losing in the MAAC final to the home team.
