Yep. My daughter and I sat directly behind the Marist bench. Just a great game, and I still have the tape.

I was in the front row, only time ever, for this game on the side where people walk in. I remember a Marist student running up and down the sideline as the crowd was in pandemonium. Dude gave me a freaking bear hug:). Best atmosphere ever for that game.

Yes, I remember this. This was the same team that finished 1-10 in the MAAC just 2 years before after losing their senior leadership, but had a lot of good underclassmen to build upon. We may have a similar situation going on now, but you guys aren't willing to be patient enough to find out what we currently have here.

Dewd, in your opinion, how many games could Marist win next year?

I'm thinking 10-12 conference games if Morton is anything like most people think he is. Marist should be better than Manhattan and Niagara still; Siena, Rider, Canisius and St. Peter's are losing a lot of senior leadership next year, so that gives us a pretty good shot to be in the top 5 in the conference.

Ok, those are the expectations I would like to see. I didn't want to see 6-8 MAAC wins as a good goal. If Martin does that next year, all of us who question him will gladly publically say we were wrong. That is a BIG jump though.

wow also never knew you could finish 1-10 in the MAAC After McClurkin was suspended, they finished their season with 1 win in the last 11 conference games - hence they finished 1-10 in the MAAC that year.
