He's got one more shot next year. No academic suspensions and 15 wins a requirement.

I agree with redfoxfanatic. No problems and 15 wins. 10 + in league. I think that's fair to ask for. It will be his team then. I still believe the fact that the upperclassmen aren't very good sets this team back. That's why I feel that does deserve more slack than most people on the board give. In the Siena and Iona examples, I'm pretty sure there was a lot more in the cupboard then in Marist's case. You will see that Siena will have trouble next year. Fran didn't leave much to Mitch. That doesn't mean Mitch is a bad coach. I'd love to see this Marist team with seniors like Rossiter and a healthy Jackson. They'd be fighting for the title. Anyone disagree with that? Siena will have trouble winning more than 8 games in the league next year. They'll be calling for Mitch's head right? They already are this year.

Iona was 7th, 7th, and 3rd in Willard's three years. There was more for him to work with than what CM had at his disposal as well. He had Springer, Clark, and Gray. He had some pretty good players to work with right off the bat. He certainly added to the mix. I'm not saying I'm happy. It should be a little better but not as much as some might think. I'd give him next year. We should see a good product. Keep in mind that his first recruiting class was just patched together. I think his last three are pretty good classes. Let's see how this year closes and next year begins.

Albert Einstein once said "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". Think about this quote for a second and ask yourself, does this quote apply to Chuck Martin?

Get somebody on it guys ...... Somebody question the AD on the direction of the program. Why the bleep isn't he asked questions??? You guys can talk about it until you're blue in the face. Like someone said, talk to the people in the the RFC. When the media doesn't ask questions, nobody has to answer.

Not sure about ggaff's last post, but his two posts before that made a lot of sense to me.

The best part about this. The number of votes rose for him to stay even after tonight's disaster!

They would still (most likely, as yankee alluded to another scenario) be Marist fans speaking out d4d, it dosen't matter if they have a single post here, or absolutely none at all. This is a fair sample of Marist fans, but there are many more who do not feel obligated to post on this board.
