St. Peter's Loss Manhattan Win Canisius Loss Niagara Loss St. Peter's Loss Iona Loss Fairfield Loss BracketBusters Win? Rider Loss Siena Loss PIG Win? Qtr final Loss
Optimistically 3-9 Realistically 1-10 The best chance for a win is Saturday against Manhattan. The Bracketbuster game is a possible win since it's at home against an equally poor team. If we play Manhattan again in the PIG we can win that one. Anyone else and we are in trouble.
I think it will be 2-9 or 3-9 depending on PIG matchup. If the team and coach want to show us something they need to go 5-7...win the PIG game...win 1 game in Buffalo against two crappy teams and surprise us somewhere else..St. Peter's?, Siena?...that would show us something and bring a more positive vibe back.
Here's some perspective if the team goes the most likely 2-9, they will be 17-78 over the CM era. Since Marist joined D-I the fewest wins in three straight years ever was 30 before CM and the most losses in three straight years was 58.

How many more games will Chuck Martin win the reminder of this season??
Curious what everyone thinks ..
I think we beat Manhattan and St. Peters at home. St. Peters is just an instinct thing on my part. Marist can get hot at home and if they shoot like they did against Niagara/Canisius, they can outscore them. I also think they have a good shot at the bracketbuster. In the PIG game, they have a shot to beat Niagara or Manhattan. Only shot for Marist in the next round would be if St. Peters SOMEHOW gets 2 seed and we win a 8-9 game. I can't see Iona getting passed by St. Peters though.
So, 3 more wins regulars season is my best estimate and 1 game in the MAAC tourney.
3 during the regular season, 1 in the tournament is my best case scenario.
As an aside, a win at the TUC on Siena's Senior Day would be a hoot, and impart a nice stench on the fart that Siena's season seems destined to become.
Joan Osborne does justice and then some to a Motown classic. youtu.be/gA0GcXV2njY
