Prescott, Carter and Kemp had good games. The best runs were when Hall was on the bench. Watson/Drummond new syndrome for Marist?

Watson suspended for an unspecified breaking go team rules. Un-real. This kid had a great video interview about how special it was that Marist gave him a chance to play D1 ball and he was gonna go all out. Instead he comes in fat, out of shape and now breaks a team rule. Unbelievable.

Shaky finish but Marist holds on 65-59. 32 game road losing streak finished. 21 game MAAC road losing streak finished. 9 game losing streak at Manhattan finished. CM's first EVER win at a MAAC school. Prescott with 18, Carter 14, Kemp 10. Congrats on the win guys! It wasn't pretty but a road win is a road win. Now Carter is a kid that is easy to root for. He had that horrible injury first year, works his butt off, never complains supposedly. Gets a chance to start and shines. GREAT JOB Carter!

BTW, Wastons benching isn't a major issue/situation .. He'll be back next game but is in all the coaches dog house. For now.
And Yankee/Nomar, you guys are way too disrespectful to the players and coach martin, seriously .. Smh. ... Some of the things u gays have said is beyond being disappointed fans. Wow

And you Petagay are too complacent and could really care less about success - you blindly follow. We have never put the kids down - I feel they are not being coached properly period and they don't deserve that. At this rate the Rusin and Prescotts on this team will never know a winning season.
I posted facts and the facts show this isn't working - these kids are not developing as players. It must be nice to look at this team with the rose colored glasses you have.
I wish i could be like you and be happy with losing but I just dont work that way. These kids are 1/2 way through their college career and they have 5 wins and i cant count the double digit loses.
What kills me is how we can read about how they where without energy, how they were out played, and write it ALL off to they are young. Nope - Martin has shown nothing as far as his coaching ability and until you can show me where these kids are getting better then I will continue to criticize.
What do I expect from Marist? I expect a top 150 RPI EVERY year, I expect to be in the top 4 of the MAAC EVERY year, and I expect to compete and sometimes beat those BCS schools. So no I do not get too excited beating teams with RPI ratings of 283 or 284.

Have we gotten better or have the other schools gotten worse? Niagara was RPI 134 last year and Manhattan was 226 - so did we catch them or have they dropped to us?

Good to get a win, and on the road in the MAAC to boot.
A little perspective -
Manhattan RPI was only marginally better than Marist's going into the game since some of their losses were to higher ranked teams than Marist - they lost to Wisconsin, Texas A&M, and Georgia (all top 50 RPI) while we lost to only one top-50 (Villanova). Their only wins have been against Penn (one of our victories) and NJIT (which is winless and has the worst rpi in the country). All this plus Manhattan was without their PG.
Marist's next 3 games are against Siena (home), Iona (away), and Rider (away). Let's see if they can be competitive in them (win one ?) and then we'll see where we are.

Nomar dont you get tired of writing the SAME nonsense (crying, whining, complaining .. etc) everyday.
And calling a player a fat slob (after he was down with a shoulder injury for months) is a ridiculous insult in my eyes ...
I will say tho, you do come with the facts and post a novels when you come with it .. but we all know and understand (well @ least most us) the situation. ... things take time.

Here is a question what does Marist Basketball team and Petagay have in common??? They are both losers.
I have never said anyone is a fat slob. You just keep praying and igoring the facts - you are a little little man and fucking piece of shit loser.

Nomar: Come on lets try to be civil. I do not agree with much Peta writes here but the name calling has to stop. On everyone's part. You are the mature adult so you should show the way.
Peta: You too must stop your insults.
BTW Mr. Watson has been a huge disappointment. I am certain the coaching staff feels the same. I think this is something EVERYONE can agree on!
