Total domination by FF from the last 2 minutes of the first half on. 38 points in the paint, 16 offensive rebounds to Marist's 6. Marist's indifference with the basketball resulted in 24 point off turnover for FF on 13 more shots.
Definition of insanity - doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

Martin screwing with this kids senior year of basketball is shameful. He played like a warrior last 15 games or so last year. Now you just throw him by the side because he wasn't your recruit coach Martin? Leave the college, please. DO US ALL A FAVOR.

Korey gave his all last year, I can't believe that he couldn't help this "Team" tonight. Lousy substitution patterns. It is very obvious that certain players are shut out killing the team approach

Tonight was very bad on all fronts. McCann was empty and, as noted above, the team played with no heart when FF upped the tempo the last few minutes of the first half (except Prescott). Repeatedly in the second half, FF players just ripped the ball from Marist player's hands. Every loose ball, FF players were on the floor and Marist players stood around and watched.
Also, it was very obvious that FF freshman and sophomores (and they play a lot of them alot of minutes) are simply better athletes than their peers on Marist, calling into question CM's reported prowess in recruiting.
CM ranting and raving at his players ... they did not respond and appeared not to even listen.
Progam on life support ....

It is now time that the redfox club does something, organize something to get this coach out as soon as possible.

CM ranting and raving at his players ... they did not respond and appeared not to even listen. Progam on life support .... I was there and agree with pretty much everything above. Not sure that FF's young players are better athletes...they're just better basketball players because they have been taught better. Like you said their guys rip balls out of our hands, they're on the floor for loose balls, they are in the right position on offense. They have a clue. Our guys run around looking confused at where their supposed to be offensively and defensively, and your right...it does not look like anything CM says is cared about or listened to. A couple specific points...Pieter Prinsloo is not a better player than Korey Bauer...anyone on the staff reading this please take this to CM. Unless Korey had some unknown injury why is Pieter Prinsloo getting so much PT? He is the captain of the "rip the ball from my hands please" club. Kemp looked real bad tonight. I can only assume it's the 3 games in 6 days freshman wall scenario...he missed so much pre season I guess it's fair to expect him to hit a wall at some point. Hope he can break through it. Candon Rusin is in the dog house it seems or CM just does not think he has enough talent after the last 4-5 games as Rusin played VERY little...probably his least used game ever. Hey, Rusin has been shooting poorly but perhaps the fact he has to be shadowed when he's on the floor opens things up for others. Not playing Rusin certainly did not help them as this was among the worst offensive performances of the last two seasons...and that's saying alot for a team that has been held under 50 four times this season. Four sub 50 scoring efforts, 6 20+ point losses THIS season. EVERY loss by double digits aside from the VT game. CM has a 14-65 record at Marist 11-23 at home 2-5 on neutral court 1-37 on road

Just looked at the stats..this game was all about hustle, heart and preparation. FF and Marist produced at pretty much the same efficiency. FF out-shot Marist 41%-40%. Both teams shot 63% from the line. FF had 9 more rebounds and 7 less turnovers which resulted in 13 more shots and 8 more FT's. That's basically 17 more possessions than Marist. Ridiculous...it's the same story with every one of these losses. This Marist team is not physically small...no excuses, it's on the coaching...poor fundamentals and not enough energy...on the coaching staff

If CM has to go then they might need a new AD who can find a coach to bring them where they should be. Who cares about Commissioner's Cups when the men's basketball team wins less than 10 games. That's the sport that people care about.. By far...

ggaff, it is unfortunate how the men's basketball has done over the years. At least most of the years they were competitive. We all understood the former coach left a very hard situation. However, its not just the wins and losses with this coach. Its what he says, its the lack of preperation, the lack of fundamentals, etc. He has failed horribly. The AD has proven he is a good AD. Mens basketball is the BIG one, but a good AD cares about all the teams. The AD is not the problem at Marist IMO.

I agree Yankee. I think Murray does a great job. I think his number one priority now should be getting the mens hoop team where it belongs. I thought CM had all the ingredients. Maybe last year took its toll on him more than we can imagine. I just wish you'd hear some comments from Murray. Siena's AD is always speaking. And they suck in most sports. They win in hoop and that's all people care about.
