Yea, im loving this...Sam seems like the biggest steal of the 2009 MAAC recruiting class. Also don't know if this was ever posted but this is the last scouting report of Prescott from recruitrecon about a month ago; it makes me happy to read Positive Image Sam Prescott (2009, 6-3 SG) committed to Marist Sam put together a great performance and really fueled his team’s victory along with Ivory Wells’ shooting. Sam was able to score out on the break and attacking the hoop. He can really finish in traffic and is an explosive athlete. Sam demonstrated this athleticism with a pair of rim rocking dunks after getting out ahead of the pack on fast breaks. What set this game apart from some of the other times I have seen him was his perimeter shooting. Sam looked confident shooting the ball and hit 3 shots from beyond he arc. Defensively he applied a lot of pressure and forced turnovers. Sam was already a very nice pickup for Marist but if he can knock down his perimeter shots like he did Tuesday, then he has a chance to be real special.

Isn't it great Foxred!!!. I remember I posted when they were first recruiting him. Nobody was real excited. I had a feeling this kid was a steal when I first read about him. He was on a good team and didn't really get a chance to show his game. Similar to Dorvell Carter. I think Chuck and company have a real eye for talent. I keep hearing up here about how Siena is too good for the MAAC. If they leave, they should take Marist with them. Nobody in this league is going to have the upper hand on Marist. Great hire Mr. Murray. The Foxes are ready to take over...Think about it. In years past, would anybody on this board think that they would get guys like Drummond and Kaba?? These guys weren't supposed to be role players for those schools. They were brought in with the idea that they would be high level performers. That is why I think they can win this year. The talent level on this team is by far the best in school history. I know a lot of them haven't played a game yet. They all have the chance to be good. Some of the guys they brought in before had no chance to be good..
