Man we are cursed.
Feel bad for Allen. He looked devastated. Hope some of these guys stay and build off this but I won’t hold my breath.

No doubt in my mind we would've manhandled SPU tomorrow, that's what makes this one hurt so bad
Hell of a season, Foxes

Didn’t take advantage of Allen’s mismatches down low in the late second half. And let FFD have way too many second chance points that let them back in the game
Feel for Allen on that 1 and 1

Well...just, well, shit. That stings real bad.
I'd like them to sign up for the CIT or CBI or something. Might be nice.

i think one of those already has , i think the CBI. i might stand corrected ,,,i think they still have both of them "announced in early March that the CIT will be revived in a 16-team pod-based format for the 2023–24 postseason."

Good season that could have been great. Experience took over for Fairfield. Allen, hold your head high. Played good all year. Marist is on the rise. After the win at Iona Dunne said that in a couple of years the Collins and Brickner (who played well in that game) will be “owning games like this.” I think you could say that’s what you saw Fields and Leach, a graduate student and a senior respectively, do in the second half of this game. This Marist team exceeded everyone’s expectation, period. I hope the season and especially tonight’s experience makes this group want to run it back next year. They are so young and so ahead of schedule. As much as I can’t stand Fairfield and their fanbase’s elitist bullsh*t, Chris Casey was robbed of the COY. Casey was thrown into the fire right before the season started and had his team at the top of the standings all season long. He is going to the finals, not Pecora.

We would've been in the NIT conversation if it weren't for:
- L At Niagara - L in BOTH games against Mount - L at home to an absolutely nerfed Iona squad
No other way around it, CIT or CBI ain't looking too shabby

So more P5 teams like Ole Miss could tell the NIT to delete their number. They'll have trouble filling out their field.

Tobin isn't recruiting the same level of player Pitino and cluess did. He is still looking at guys who wanted to sign with fDU. Not scared at all. Marist on rise. Now we got to keep who we can and find replacements for those that will leave.

He did very well his first year., from his previous positions , i would say yes , he's a very good agressive recruiter. He's obviously not one of the top 10 college coaches in history like Pitino .

Free throws were a bugaboo for the Foxes all year. Tonight they shoot 10-11. What Irony.

Pitino is a really bad human being though. But yes, very successful getting wins
