I thought the smaller than normal band section did a great job throughout game. They helped get crowd energized during our late run. crowd wasn't huge, but still great atmosphere in 2nd half. Having one shuttle going before game is unacceptable. Marist needs to fix parking situation.

Caught the game on replay. Definitely an uneven performance as folks pointed out in the game thread. Pascarelli is basketball wise beyond his years and is one of the best shooters as a freshman at Marist that I can remember. Farris and Cooley were more than solid in their last game at McCann.
While they didn’t make it easy on themselves down the stretch, earning the #3 seed is a terrific accomplishment for a program that is one year removed from the MAAC basement. They should feel good about themselves heading to AC and hopefully the 2 extra days off helps Allen get his foot closer to 100%.
Kudos to the staff for recruiting a top notch class this year. The team has a talented and promising blend of young four year and portal guys. Hopefully, they can keep them around.

Not sure if community has stepped up to form an NIL collective. Hopefully something is being done. We know Iona and Siena have NIL collectives. This group does seem tight, so hopefully they also want the old fashioned have a great time at your school for 4 years experience. Basically right now, it's like free agency every year. We just have to cheer and hope on a year to year basis. This year's team has done well.

Someone asked about Sulack (no senior day) in the other thread and I don't think it means he's returning, but I don't know for sure.
He had his Senior Night in his hometown last March at UT. Maybe he told the coaches and athletic department "my family doesn't need to travel from Tennessee to Poughkeepsie for a ceremony I already had, for a game I won't play in, and the list of things the PA announcer will say is 'appeared in 3 games this season.'"

Not sure if this was posted already, but here are the men’s brackets: maacsports.com/tournaments/?id=1662We get either Niagara or Siena. Niagara will be primed for revenge, hopefully Siena makes them work for a W or even beats them. Both are unlikely.

May be a six of one half dozen situation. If Siena wins it probably means they have Durugordon, Eley, and Ojo back.

Brickner can play better. Niagara center dues a good job bodying Allen. If that happens again, then we saw we can bring in price. That guy can't get out to defend the Allen 3 point attempts. They shot 67 percent against us with 3 pointers in first half with all our guys struggling. Marist came back to win. Niagara also played very physical inside. Refs allowed it for both sides. If fouls are called in the tourney, Marist depth is much better. Siena can be scary IF all those guys play, but I would think no oncourt chemistry. I would rather the known beatable threat vs the unknown of "what if SD and ELEY both go crazy in 1 game".

Jaden putting it all on the dog with his pick for men’s champ! Definitely in the spirit of AC.

Surprised that Allen didn't even get a 3rd team nod - but if his predictions hold true WOW

That would be great! But I gotta see it before I believe it. 1 win is all I see. Hope I’m wrong.
