The Red Foxes (5-15, 3-7) travel to the Leo J. Mahoney Area on the beautiful campus of Fairfield University for a Girls Out Day matinee. Fairfield (19-1, 11-0) is running away with the MAAC with only 1 loss overall and a perfect record in league play. The Foxes are coming off a spirited but losing effort against a surging Siena squad at the McCann Center. Conversely, Fairfield is coming off a 36 point dismantling of Iona. A game in which Fairfield ran out to a 20-0 lead shooting 57% overall and 45% from 3.
Fairfield is on a mission for MAAC perfection. Their biggest worry would seem to be peaking too soon. Marist is on a mission to play hard, smart and just get better. Let’s how the Foxes respond.

It is a broken record - the offense is non-existent (and that is with Fisher and Zaria on court at same time)
I honestly am beyond any idea how this staff can fix this.
You can’t do it with current roster.

You can’t do it with current roster. And then an explosive 2nd quarter, but they can't stop Fairfield from scoring either so they don't get any closer.

1st half stats, looks like Fairfield has figured out to how to play team ball, 13 assist.....not bad for the # 8 ranked Mid Major team.
Marist out scored in the paint by 12 22-10, how is that with the vaunted 6'5" Georgetown transfer on your team.
2-10 from beyond the arc for Marist is a bit disappointing. Fairfield shooting over 44%
Maybe Shazer will get something going in the second half?

End of 3rd, Fairfield playing like a top 10 Mid Major, now up to almost 50% shooting and almost 45% form three and
18 assists, Marist with 8, doesn't help that Marist has 19 turnovers and given up 32 points in the paint.
Well only down by 20, could be worse I guess.

This team is GOD awful. Out of shape, slow, no defense, can’t shoot …..
Have you ever seen a Marist team that is so easy to score on

Well, there's an hour and 45 minutes of my life I will never get back.
Been a lot of that happening this season with not only the Marist women but also both the Coastal Carolina men's and women's teams. Thank God Coastal baseball starts a week from tomorrow. At least the Marist men are halfway decent.

Not giving Rife any minutes in that blow out tells you that she in not wanted on this team…..
Just get your degree for free and move on …..

Looks like Fisher, Tarul, Croker came to play and everyone else might as well have stayed in Poughkeepsie.
There really is no "if this, that, and the other happens"; it's going to take a complete turnover of the roster (and I don't mean the kind they committed 29 of today) before you can even hope to contend again.
