We have a poster who suggested this and it's brilliant. Coaches outthink themselves. Dunne, just play them together, stop worrying if they will "rotate correctly if they play together". Play the talent. Dunne, Marist has best roster in maac, win it

we are 344th in team rebounding , that has to change . I hope Dunne looks at the possibilities

I thought about that and I think I asked JD about it. He did say Max struggles on the defensive end at times. One thing he also told me was that the kid from Oklahoma not coming was a huge loss. He would have made the team a lot better. He is very proud of the team and the Ok kid not coming forced Josh into getting thrown into the fire. The proverbial wall comes. He likes the team and so do I. It's obvious that Brick is not 100% .Coach also reminded us that Max is really like a freshman. So there will be ups and downs.

Brickner has just looked nothing like his freshman self. You wonder if they should shut him down.

Yeah the Mount both times completely dominated the glass -17 and -18. I think the Binghamton game was pretty bad too. Overall though they haven't been great, or even good, but not terrible

That poster would be me and I've been screaming to play them together since pre season. It's so obvious. Doesn't have to be all the time. But in special packages, it makes tons of sense. Dunne is absolutely over thinking this option. Price is a true 4 at this level. And being a.500 team or not, they can finish top 5 in the MAAC and make another run in the playoffs again. We have to use the right combinations in the right situations.
I still think they need to set Collins loose and allow him to play free, get into a rhythm. He's the x factor in my mind. Collins, Allen and Brickner off the ball are the key.

Brickner is a SF-3, not a PG-1. That's the problem. Let him play off the ball and use his athleticism accordingly. I thought about that and I think I asked JD about it. He did say Max struggles on the defensive end at times. One thing he also told me was that the kid from Oklahoma not coming was a huge loss. He would have made the team a lot better. I love Brickner as the PG. Keeps him involved each play. He isn't the greatest shooter, but he can drive and finish, or drive and dish. At his optimal health, he finishes strong at the hoop. But, maybe you are right. Either way, Brickner needs to play as much as possible. He is a disruptive defender and good rebounder

Brick has had a lot of bad turnovers. A lot. Many cross court passes that are telegraphed. If he can get back to playing his game, they can win this thing. They struggled with the Mount twice and Fairfield. We know they can beat anyone else. They were up against Quinny.
