How the season went for some former players/commits (and hopefully a new post in the portal thread didn't give anyone a heart attack).
Belton - 16 starts in 27 games at Ouachita Baptist (8-19). Averaged 20 minutes, 4pts, 4 rebounds.
St.Furcy - 19 starts in 27 games at New Haven (10-19). Averaged 30 minutes, 9 points, 4 rebounds
King - 28 starts in 28 games at New Haven (10-19). Averaged 34 minutes, 17 points, 3 assists. Won NE-10 RoY Award.
Nwankwo - 30 starts in 30 games at Cowley CC (26-4). Averaged 30 minutes, 18pts (37% from 3). Recent offers from Tulsa and St. Louis
Wright - 1 start in 30 games at SMU (20-11). Averaged 15 minutes, 7 points (38% from 3)
Ituka - Missed the season with knee injury at Wake Forest (20-12)
Byrd - 31 starts in 31 games at Jefferson University (23-8, won the CACC). Averaged 33 minutes, 12 points (47% from 3), 4 assists
Bonus: Mike Maker as Associate Head Coach helped St. Thomas to their best season as a D1 program (20-13, 9-7). They were eliminated in the Summit League semifinals for the second year in a row earlier tonight

Disappointed that King and Nwankwo reneged but it turned out pretty well without them. If you could play football and hoops concurrently Nwankwo probably would have done it. LOL

LOL I wonder if they could circle back with Nwankwo. Like you said he's getting bigger offers now but he'll also be a JUCO All-American most likely. Worth a shot.

All-MAAC third teamer Tre Dinkins into the portal. Witherspoon is gone, but probably would've happened anyway

My first thought is bring him back...although who knows if he'd want to come back as more of a complementary piece rather than a featured player.
