Iona exodus update……Walter Clayton to University of Florida. Nellie Junior Joseph to New Mexico. WC jr not good enough for SJU? or SJU not good enough for Clayton?

Clayton is from Florida. Wonder if he regrets not taking that scholarship from Notre Dame Football to play defensive back. He looked like a big time FBS defender stuffing Cooley’s dunk attempt at the rim in the MAAC Championship Game.

I guess Baker Dunleavy put himself in the transfer portal; Tom Pecora is now head coach at QU.

Really nice pickup for the Saints. Wonder if any NIL money got them over the finish line

Really nice pickup for the Saints. Wonder if any NIL money got them over the finish line Yes. The guy who runs Saints March On, the NIL Collective supporting Siena Athletics, who posts on the Siena Board answered that question in the Durugordon thread with a “winking” emoji. Adapt or die, or at least wither away. Unfortunately, we pretty much know where TM stands on the issue of modernization of the athletic programs. Very good get. Regardless, some talk in the thread about Durugordon needing a waiver of some sort. No specifics discussed.

The NCAA has said they won't be handing out waivers easily so we'll see if he can get one.
