We beat them in buffalo. They are better than us offensively, heck Vassar is too probably, but most Marist players do show good effort every game. I think a home game with players just playing hard will lead to a win. Red foxes need this, get it.

Pretty efficient half. Keep Henderson in check in the second and keep taking care of the basketball

It’s the coach, even if they hold on.

Well, a BIG sigh of relief. I really thought this was going to be a 4th straight loss after having a double digit lead. Thanks Gardner. He played a great game, especially in the final minutes.

Way too close for comfort. 10 point lead at the 5 minute mark, down to 5 at 3 minutes, and 2 point game with about a minute left.
Some rough offensive fouls and sloppy turnovers during that stretch.
Nice three from Brickner in that stretch, but Gardner carried it

Nice to get a win. The team has never given up and JD has said he loves coaching them. This team sort of reminds me of the team Magarity had his last yr. Took their lumps on some nights but showed the promise of a very good team going forward. Belto showed some nice things. Nice to see Matt McMcool get in there. Brickner will be a star. No doubt in my mind about that. If Harris or Farris or both could be consistent theyd give teams problems in the tourney.
Build off of it with a win on the road.
And Yankee. If you want to give me Marist and 15 against Siena, I'm all in. Although, I think you said 25.. lol They lost at home to Niagara.

Gardner and Bricker show. Great job by them and the rest of the team to have a nice controlled win.

A good sign is that none of the kids play scared. Daughtry is always aroundd the ball. He polishes his game, he can take a leap. Loved that turnaround by Salton. I like this class a lot. Hopefully , Pascarelli is a sniper that will make shots. I know Collins is crafty. Gotta hope that Noah becomes what we expected. Looks more robotic than I thought he would be. Liked the mid-range yesterday..

And I think Brickner has great mechanics. Hit 2 3s yesterday. He'll get better and better. He gets asked to do a lot. If they had a true point, he'd be a real handful on fresh legs...

I predicted that Siena will have a lead of 25 at some point in the game in Albany. They were better than Marist at 4 of the 5 positions in the game at the McCann and they were down McCollum and Baer. Siena needs to make up for some ground in the standing lost at the hands of Manhattan and Niagara. They have a stronger motivation and the home court. Marist plays hard but their inexperience makes them susceptible to long unproductive stretches in games. I hope I’m wrong but I just don’t see a dogfight of a game happening. St. Peter’s on Friday is a different story. Marist should be totally motivated to avenge the disappointing home loss vs a team that’s more of a peer experience and talent wise. They were killed by St. Peter’s on boards in that game. Hopefully having Ingo back for this one makes them more competitive on the boards.

Yankee,
I know you've been talking a lot about the lack of a PG and a shooter. Collins and Pascarelli are ligting it up. The future is very bright if Belton and McCool can contribute nexxt yr. Get a veteran impact big. I'm really liking the way the kids are coming along. We see Salton. Obviously Brickner. Let's see Daughtry. He's got the talent.
Collins is very crafty and strong for his sie. The shooters will get plenty of looks from this kid. Great finishing with either hand. Future very bright for this group. All positive. Keep developing.
