Hopefully the new college president and his administration has a broader vision for athletics. Change has to start with the top.

"span of five days" damn been watching this 30 years - we must have been at Marist same time. I lived with Ted Sharpenter - when we skipped school to drive down to Maimi and watch Marist beat Miami - Drafton wanted a ride because he was afraid of flying. The stands were always packed, it was just pregame to whatever was going to happen later that night. That is what I don't get - what doing the students really have to do between 7pm -9 pm ? Do parties or bars get going earlier? No. Unless you absolutely love basketball and are closely following the team or schedule, you would barely even know a game was happening

Write the prez an e-m. His e-m is out there. No sense talking about it among ourselves. It's funny. To show you how out of touch the AD is , he said "I don't how long we can keep him" when he made the hire. He's clueless. He''s the problem. The right people can turn the program around. Other schools have had droughts. He's been the problem..

Marist doesn’t use SM well at all - can be a powerful marketing tool. Got to believe it is part of the communications curriculum. You have a number of students at your disposal to get stories, marketing, etc out there. Right now so basic - reactive not proactive.
Put in Brian Giorgis in Twitter the “top” stories that came up for me was from 2018, 2017, and Nov 2022.

Why would TM give Dunne an extension then say “I don’t know how long he will be here” If that’s the case, he needs to go then bc he has no idea what he’s doing

TM said that after the original hire as if he would be our Fran McCaffrey.. If he was in high demand, he wouldn't have went sideways first. I always blame the AD. Still don't know why he wasn't happy with Magarity. I can see if he had some master plan to really build the program. He should have been fired after the Brady debacle.
