I think all of the freshman are bright spots. Dunne needs to get 2 bigs and develop McCool. Then the future might be nice. They have Pascarelli and Collins on board. Put up or shut up. They blew this year by not retaining guys.

Both these guys are perfect this level. Can take next step if they stay. They don't profile yet as kids who will be able to make huge jump off this year. If they portal out, it's ALL on this coaching staff

Speaking of Wake Forest ...although Boeheim has since apologized for it ..although there is truth to it “This is an awful place we're in in college basketball,” Boeheim said. “Pittsburgh bought a team. … Wake Forest bought a team. Miami bought a team. ... It's like, 'Really, this is where we are?' That's really where we are, and it's only going to get worse.”

Only thing out there with Brickner and Salton is that they're originally from the West Coast. How many freshmen across the NCAA just took whatever offer they could get even if they wanted to play close to home?
Both have shown they could play on a Pepperdine, San Diego, Portland etc.

Retire, grandpa, the game left you in the dust years ago.

Retire, grandpa, the game left you in the dust years ago. Led Syracuse to five Big East tournament championships (1981, 1988, 1992, 2005, 2006) i don't see where your basketball knowledge comes from ..Boeheim is a great coach period ..

1 national title in 500 years coaching in elite conferences, and he needed Carmelo to do it. Produced little NBA talent otherwise, and don't say Derrick Coleman.
How many of those tournament appearances were falling through the back door as an 11 seed?
He underperforms given all Cuse has to work with. They should be Kansas, Duke - but they're NIT regulars now.
And of course, #zoneisforcowards

Gotta be a bit of both, right? Calipari can't coach at all but he has his sales pitch to 5-stars perfectly calibrated.
K used to develop good players into great ones, then he got tired of losing to UK and started taking the Kyrie, RJ Barrett, etc. can't miss dudes.
