Took the punch and answered it. Krick playing like a super senior.

We can not hold on to the ball over 30 TOs and we are down to a 2 point lead

4 minutes scoreless, can't happen against this team if you want to get on the bus with a W.

excellent response down the stretch - Krick, Shazer and how about Juli Bonilla stepping up to secure the W. You do indeed love to see it.
EDIT: Jackie Piddock 5-5 from the line. Great sign.

I feel like Bonilla has had one really good game every season. Maybe this is the year she can build on it. If she’s a reliable scorer the whole season feels different.

Q chokes at Iona, outscored 19-7 in the 4th. Kate Mager wins it with a 3 with 6 seconds left. Kate was the transfer I wanted more then anyone we talked about - she is so good

might have been Bonilla's best and most important game played Agreed. One off her career scoring high from the season opener last year at Drexel, but that ended up as a "how did that happen?" for her and the team. Plus today was a league game, on the road to boot. She filled the stat sheet today more than any other game in her career.

Want to give credit to the Marist defense. Purps shot 33% overall and 13% from distance. Niagara was at full strength and at home.
If, and it’s a BIG IF, Marist can find a consistent 4th offensive option, even by committee, they will be in the mix. The defense is so consistently good.

All the traveling calls against Niagara helped. Teams that figure out how the rule is now being enforced are going to have at least a little edge this season.

Had to watch the archive of the game as I had to pick my daughter up at the airport at 2:15, coming in for the Myrtle Beach Bowl on Monday. Then had to do lunch, a little shopping and watch the Clowns....er, I mean Browns game. Couldn't believe the number of turnovers. Was this game played at the Niagara Bakery?
